President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

I might have missed it in here but does anyone know why the concrete walls are being placed at the WH and the 20+ft fence at the Capital?

Joe is afraid of the public & afraid of those that didn't vote for him. He thinks another riot will be happening anyday now since he knows now he's the worse president in American history just after one year of being in Office.

TAVRS are genius. I have seen shortness of breath resolve immediately after the surgery. People are astonished at the result as was I. The watchman trial I see is also done percutaneus which is beneficial to you. Are they considering it due to the afib and anti-coagulation? The study shows people coming off anticoagulation in 6 months and the study has a Golden standard p value. That’s reassuring.
The hospitals are really ghost towns. We have visitation from 11-6 daily where loved ones can come visit. They can stand outside the glass. It breaks my heart.
Covid brain is real. Residual effects of covid are very real. I think I had shortness of breath for 4 months while still wearing n 95 masks caring for covid pts. I’m watching nurses who have asthma suffer daily. My older coworkers are struggling and ready to retire. Recently we lost a nurse who was supposed to retire in February. They found her down 3 weeks ago. It was around the time we lost 12 pts in 2 weeks. Grief overload made the unit very quiet for about a week. Had to realize the living need my attention and my grief is quietly dealt with at home.
It’s easy for people to play the blame game with covid. In the end, I just take care of pts and families. Something I wish all nurses were centered on.

Yes on the afib and anti-coagulation, apparently I go in and out of afib more than I thought. They did an EKG and chest X-ray when I was admitted. The EKG had the long spacing with little bouncy waveform between beats, and then about five extremely rapid beats in a row. I feel it, but when it changes in and out so fast it's hard to identify. My wife got me a KardiaMobile. Pretty neat you can do EKGs and read them via Bluetooth on your phone or iPad - it really does work; now I just have to learn how to read the EKG. I never knew about the left atrial appendage - a perfect little pocket for forming blood clots. The chest X-ray right after the TAVR - hadn't even moved out of the OR was night and day from the one done just before the TAVR - pretty amazing what happens when the valves are doing the right things.

I do know what you mean about the N95 masks. I'd been having problems breathing with one during the past year, but the recently that's all changed, but I also don't wear one all day. My wife's case of covid brain seems to be a couple of things - sometimes she's a little foggy and other times she's just so irritable about it all that she doesn't think rationally, and sometimes she's pretty normal. She has balance problems ( and falls) on and off even more than a year after covid. There's also some lingering taste and smell issues which are very irritating to her because she can't enjoy what she has always liked. It's just not a disease to be taken lightly.

IMO there's about to be something said whether that's a bill, a quote, etc. that they think they need all that.

The timing is a bit weird ... like the start of Black History Month. Maybe he's afraid of overexuberant demonstrations since his administration is doing so well at everything. Unless biden does some magic executive orders, congress doesn't seem to be capable of changing much and the SC seems to be in a "no" mood, so he shouldn't have to fear much about actually accomplishing something stupid enough to incite the "domestic terrorists". Maybe the wall is intended to be in time for the mid-term elections ... and people in a foul mood being stoked. Of course, the other thing is that totalitarians like to do things covertly, so maybe it's as simple as being able to screen who comes and goes to the WH ... a Weekend at Bernie's event is easier to pull without a hostile audience, too.

I didn't read the article, so I don't know where these covidiots are located, but I sincerely hope it's in DC and they don't have their vax passports to get food when they give up in a few minutes.
I can hear the little crybabies now when they were growing up, mom will you fix me a sandwich, mom will you get me something to drink, mom will you go get me a pizza/McNuggets etc?

They are at the Capital in DC. But to get in to DC now I read somewhere it took an ID and shot pass.

Well I read somewhere that at the White House was for construction. Never seen anyone build walls to start any type of construction but I just let it go until I found out 20+ft walls had been added to the capital.

And all us dumb people were told walls don't work. Lol

So currently with dems in charge of both houses of congress and the administration, the constitutional right to assemble and petition government is now more restrictive than voting ... seems about right for this administration.

Yeah, tell that to Los Angelians where every yard has a concrete block wall in the backyard separating their yard from their neighbors. The classic liberal mantra, do as I say, not as I do.
