At one time there was. If you dedicated a part of a home to a business there was a tax benefit. I have no idea if that extended to people working from home under Covid rules.

Looks like regular employees are out of luck as far as tax benefits go.

If your employer required you to work remote, didn’t have an office for you to report to you could claim it.

I think most people don’t have a problem with work visas or people that obtain legal citizenship. I would be cool with offering those already here a path to citizenship if it meant locking down the border and doing away with bs asylum.

We’re still on a 3/2 hybrid. It’s optional, and very popular.

I could do my job 100% remote, but I’m usually in 4 or 5 days a week. Unless I actually need to be home, which is obviously a very convenient option.

There are some aspects that just can’t be replicated remotely over video.
