No but they can affect your ability to go on with regular life and rebuild. I'm ok with skipping the idiots who built on the water in favor of the ones who need legitimate help. I mean, the money will be spent regardless

So now the UN wants to call the shots on monetary policy. With Dementia Joe and Kamala "running the show", there is a real danger that they'll defer to the UN.

Huge shock that liberal globalists are leading the UN. Only liberals are stupid enough to think that "windfall taxes on corporations" and "better regulations" are ways to bring inflation down.

If America wasn't the most prosperous nation on Erath..the UN would **** on us.
They want our wealth to distribute as reparations to the World for their own failed governments.
We have done a pretty spectacular job in killing ourselves and they want the final twist of the knife.

They all need help during a tragedy. To try to elude to some type of race based system is ridiculous. Helped should be based on whether or not insured etc.

Huh? Insurance shouldn't be a qualifier for need based assistance. The fact is billions will be spent to rebuild for those who need it the last. It's waste

Ok well if the insurers are responsible during these events then all the more reason to not be talking about "equity" in helping during a natural disaster. I just remember going through my insurance company during tornado damage in the area. The had it documented for the area. I assumed they were filing reimbursement claims with the government.

You realize not everyone owns a home and has insurance to cover losses right?

Expand on this thought if you would. If you don't own a home, you most likely are renting. If you rent and the home blows away, it's not a loss to the renter unless they were stupid and didn't have renters insurance to cover belongings.

They have to replace their things and find a new place to live. That could require new deposits, etc and days off work. When you don't have much that's not an easy thing to do. Poor can't just escape and restart quickly

Agreed. Everybody should have access to help. That's my only point. Harris wants some people to wait based on skin color. That's what it's about. Even poor white. Why even bring mess like that up? Are they requiring you to input your income? If so, the process will work that out.
