President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

I edited my post because it was unclear. You replied before i did that. Let me bring the spirit of that edit to this post.

Would the money loaned circulate in Argentina as USD or would it be held in the national bank to back their peso?

I think the majority of it would be used to pay interest to US banks on the money they owe them, about 300 billion.

The way it works is US banks (private) loan countries money with guarantees (like student loans) from the US govt. When a foreign nation gets to the point where they can't pay the interest on that money we "loan" then more money so that they can make their interest payments. Or we'll do a debt sway which I'm not exactly sure how that works but in either case the goal is to make absolutely sure the money keeps flowing to our banks so that they can make their interest payments to the Federal Reserve. There isn't a supply or stockpile of cash laying around, it's called fractional banking. Look it up, it's infuriating.

He doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

The reason the baby gets a vaccine is because Hep B can transfer from mother to baby. This is common knowledge. Also, gee, I wonder why he thinks 12 year olds are sexually active? Hmmmm

At what age do you think people start having sex ,and why would him knowing the age be " Hmmmmm"?

That makes sense. I'll look into the arrangement with Argentina more closely.

I didn't know Argentina was at risk of defaulting on existing loans.

I didn't either.
does call into question the turnaround that was allegedly happening under Milei(sp?).

I would be interested to see a break down on how/if the payments have changed with his presidency.

like if he was paying more than previously, but still not enough to cover everything; then yeah maybe there is reason to believe. but if he made all those cuts and is paying the same or less, there is even less reason to give them more money.

Right now nothing is being purchased, so STFU with this defense.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong?

The United States is providing an additional $93 million to treat nearly one million children suffering from malnutrition in 13 countries with lifesaving, ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF) from American producers. The countries are Haiti, Mali, Niger, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Nigeria, Madagascar, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Kenya, and Chad.
UNICEF will use this funding to transport and distribute the U.S. government’s entire prepositioned stock of RUTF (1,209 metric tons). The funding will also be used to order the production of an additional 11,285 metric tons of RUTF, which UNICEF will transport and distribute as part of ongoing global malnutrition programs until June 2026.

They are turning it around but he started with 2 outs, bases empty, an 0-2 count in the bottom of the 9th trailing by double digit runs. It would have been a miracle for him to pull it out without additional assistance.

yeah, that is kinda what I figured. but this sounds like it is more than just a loan, Argentia will apparently be adopting the US dollar as its main currency, not the dual system it has now.

that has some pretty major implications for Argentina.
