It is expensive, but for 2025 there is a $17,000+ tax credit for adoption. That greatly offsets costs over the next 3 years.

Considering that a lot of pregnancies carry over from one year to the next, with attendant deductibles and co-pays, a lot of bio-born babies net cost near that same as adopted children.

Let’s hope when this is all settled for good that PP has to pay back any money received after this law went into effect. This case never should have made it to court. It is open and shut. Congress did not allocate funds to them. Law was signed by the President. Done. End of story
