President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Much more than you have ever said about Trump's January 6th pardons ..... if you have ever done anything but give Donald Trump bj's on here, I haven't seen it.
Criticizing Trump's J6 pardons is fair game but you're missing one huge factor. Trump was upfront and honest about doing it. He said on the campaign that he'd likely do it. Voters knew that and voted for him anyway. Biden flat out lied about his intentions and he got the entire WH to lie about it on his behalf. That takes it to another level. You're free to disagree with Trump's decision but at least he was upfront about it

If the government was behind what happened in full or part on 1/6, I would say it either needs to be disclosed in full, which really hasn't happened yet or a pardon seems like a worthy avenue.
if the government, I am guessing you mean non-Trump here based on your posting, was behind it; it would justify pardons for the non-violent. which I have never complained about them getting pardons.

but for the violent, they are still responsible for their violence, unless someone can point to the FBI agent threatening them some how, someway.

Possibly but if they are not being given all the information for their defense than it could be the fruits from the poisonous tree or lack of disclosure of Brady material, now whether all of them should be pardoned is a question.... many of them should have been or cases dropped which was done to many of them.

A better question is why haven't there been arrests for the people in Congress which destroyed documents.

you have the wrong person, I have never made that claim, no stolen valor here.

only claim to any link to any crime I have is an attempted mugging, and a good samaritan saving me.
well that and being detained because of trespassing while on a job, but I was never charged with anything.
My apologies. Been a while since I’ve ventured to the political forum. Sorry about that

official acts of a government body can't be punished remember? especially when it comes to the improper handling of government documents. The Trump defense.

What kind of job? Casing a house?

There are many valid reasons to be critical of Bill Clinton, and his presidency, but during his 2nd term in office, there was a great deal of collaboration between Clinton and Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.

They were able to get productive, bi-partisan legislation passed, which involved compromises from both parties. The tryst with the intern, and the subsequent impeachment over-shadowed what truly was a vibrant time of peace and prosperity for the country.

We have seen nothing close to that under Donald Trump. Despite the Republican Party having majority control of both chambers of Congress, for the 2nd time, Donald Trump gets very little legislation passed. His means of governance is still almost entirely by way of executive orders.

.... and he delights in his petty little jabs at cities and states that he thinks of as being "blue." I don't think Donald Trump thinks of American citizens on the west coast and northeast as his fellow countrymen. Every indication he gives, would lead one to believe that he thinks of those people only as his enemies.
I wouldn't mistake Trump's rhetoric for what he really thinks. I don't think that his role play character has really taken control of his thoughts. He's well aware that northeasterners are his countrymen since he is one himself; he's born, raised and educated there. He plays the division game to appeal to his uneducated hateful MAGA minions.

Sorry, but those January 6th pardons are fair game, Trailer Park. They should have been handled on a case-by-case basis. Instead, Donald Trump pardoned people who can be seen on video physically assaulting DC police and Capitol security. They undermine the Republican Party's law and order mantra.
Hey now, there are some good people that live in trailer parks for whatever reason. There's no need to slander them.

How were they legally cleared if they didn't have work visas?
it was apparently a mixed bag.

1. some did enter illegally.
2. some were on valid visas, but ICE is claiming they violated them. apparently various business visas don't allow "direct work". ICE has redefined that under Trump but never published the change.
3. some had just overstayed previously valid work visas.
4. some were legal work visas, but are being tossed for "harboring" illegal visa holders
5. some had some things cleared thru, but not other items. like they had a proper work visa but hadn't correctly told BP where they were staying or some procedural issue.
6. some combination of the above had apparently been working with the admin, and had been told their status wouldn't be an issue because they were there on one of "Trump's" investment deals.

If its part of their duties, sure, not sure where members of Congress duties have to deal with criminal fraud.

You're a nut.

if they think the documents are about to be illegally taken, or compromised some way; it seems pretty smart to destroy them before it happens.

No, it sounds like the chances are they are criminals trying to cover up a crime that they themselves did, either way very problematic on many fronts.

Thanks for the good information. I know Koreans, Chinese, et al often work SEA (at jobs locals can do) on non-employment visa types under an 'understanding' with the host country. I was hopeful that we're not that level of banana republic yet. I wonder how many of those 450 were doing something that a local could have done.
