In legal terms, abuse of discretion occurs when a court makes a decision that is arbitrary, unreasonable, or illogical, or that is clearly against the law or the evidence presented, resulting in an injustice to a party.

So yea that's the standard practice for overturning a judge who was unreasonable, illogical, or didn't follow the law in their ruling. its not a good look for a judge at all.
