We’ve been through this before. It’s not if a city and/or state is red or blue that determines violate crime rate. It’s ultimately a question of racial demographics.

Louisiana and Mississippi are the two states with the highest % black population in the country and they’re annually 1 and 2 in terms of homicide rate. The correlation is through the roof.
