Democrats have been full retard since Obama term 2 and the Republicans have been since Trump term 1 (2016).

Politics seemed a little easier in the late 90s/early 2000s. Granted, we also did some stupid stuff in that era like the Iraq War that caused us to pay the price down the line.

I actually think the Republicans have gotten worse lately (although they didn't go off the cliff like Democrats), but I hear you. The first party to get more towards "normalcy" will dominate in elections. Unfortunately, neither seems to be heading that way.

DC is probably better than Baltimore, Chicago, Memphis (pains me), New Orleans and Detroit. All of these cities are controlled by one party who, by nature of their protesting in DC, seem to be OK with their crime rates. If NY goes the direction it appears, stay tuned, we will have a new leader in the club house.

Dems are the only ones “eating this up”. We are trying to fix it.

Being upset with the NG taking over a city doesn't mean people are happy about crime in DC.

The whole country is "we". Trump hasn't got the first damn clue how to fix crime
