How did Colbert's canceling become a narrative that it was politically motivated? In the history of broadcast TV, more shows are canceled than are on air. Colbert's colleagues all seem united in their view this was about Colbert's content rather than his inability to attract an audience. I don't understand how we got here.
He's desperate for any sort of distraction from the Epstein files. No .... the article is telling white people to stop telling Native Americans what they should and shouldn't be offended by.
My opinion only concerns a belief that the President of the United States should have more important things to concern himself with .... which by the way, is exactly the same opinion that Donald Trump expressed in 2013, when he was being critical of Barack Obama. Trump had it right in 2013, but he is being phony and hypocritical now.
Respect to you and your family for their service!1. Mother: School teacher for 25 years. Retired. Attained MBA. Hospital Administrator 15 years. Retired. Father: Career USAF officer. Decorated bomber pilot who served in WW2 and Korea. Flew the B17, B26 and B-52. Retired Colonel. Educated engineer. Worked at Arnold AFB as lead engineer in ICBM missle testing. Retired after 15 there.
2. We're great but have lost our way electing the likes of Trump and Biden.Yes we can do better selecting our leaders
Meh ....His inability to attract an audience was because his content was uber liberal propaganda....
And. It wasn't a trivial matter when it happened. Only to you a white male telling everyone what is trivial and what's isn't...your the exact reason that white liberals get a bad rep...you speak as if everything you say is fact when in reality most of the time it's just you posting bias confirmation from left wing sources....even when presented with proof you'll still argue your correct...The nickname of an NFL team should be a trivial matter to the President of the United States .... Trump even said so, in 2013. So, why the change now? Because Trump wants to pander to his base, just like Obama did.

Paramount owns CBS. Paramount wants to merge with Skydance Media, but they need FCC approval (aka Trump's) to finalize the deal. That's the main reason CBS paid Trump 16 million to settle the lawsuit, even though the unedited footage proves that Kamala was accurately quoted in the interview. 16 million is a drop in the bucket to Paramount. How did Colbert's canceling become a narrative that it was politically motivated? Fast forward to Colbert, he was cancelled just days after being critical of Trump on CBS.
This is all just bowing to Trump and kissing the ring in order for Paramount to get what they need - the merger approval. Just rich people wanting to get richer, all it is.
Meh ....

Jon Stewart helps lead The Daily Show to its biggest numbers in a decade
Amid the changing tides of late-night TV, one thing remains constant: Jon Stewart delivers. The Daily Show saw its best ratings in 10 years, and it's all thankswww.lastnighton.com
I think the bigger problem is that Stephen Colbert is too bland, and simply not very funny. Jon Stewart is just as liberal as Colbert, and yet Stewart has attracted big ratings wherever he has been. I think Stewart could take over that same CBS time slot and do well with it.
You may want to rewatch the unedited footage. It was a complete word salad like most of her other interviews. If you watch the unedited footage and think Kamala comes off as intelligent and thoughtful then your TDS may be even worse than we thought.Paramount owns CBS. Made fun of Trump, sure.Good, then you see how absurd your premise is. Comedians made fun of Trump, Trump’s feelings got hurt and he threw his usual temper tantrum. End of story.
It was edited but it wasn't deceitful. She was sniffling and complaining of a mold allergy. Interviews of politicians are edited literally all the time. Fox and other have edited Trump's interviews routinely.Colbert had horrible ratings and was costing the company around 40 million annually.
Where’s the unedited video you claim? The unedited video we have all seen shows her first answer to the question was an incoherent mess and they allowed her a redo.
It's unedited. I would expect it to be a little wordy. Let's see some unedited Trump interviewsYou may want to rewatch the unedited footage. You are over-complicating the situation. Trump is an infant and can’t handle being ridiculed . He is a soft, fragile pansy as are his supporters that are triggered by a comedian ridiculing Trump.Made fun of Trump, sure.
Protected Biden/liberals as the good guys, problem.
It’s really not that hard to understand why he’s being cancelled. Liberal protection is being exposed.
