It doesn't make any sense that a billionaire would wait that long to follow through on a donation to a cause as important and close to home as the 9/11 charities should have been to Donald Trump at the time he made that pledge in the Fall of 2001.

You are wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, where there shouldn't be any doubt. It is completely consistent with Donald Trump's dishonesty, selfishness, greed and lack of integrity and character, that he never made a donation of even one cent to any of the 9/11 charities.

That's just the type of insufferable person that he is ... and that is who you are unconditionally supporting and defending, and bowing to daily with pathetic hero worship.

I have often stated that voting for Trump because there was a feeling he was the lesser of two evils is perfectly valid. Harris was/is a joke. I dislike her as much or more than Trump. I voted for Haley in the primary and would have voted for her in the general had she gotten the nomination. Abstained from voting in the general because of the choices.

I would not be surprised if he does doze off from time to time. He maintains the schedule of 3 average retirees.

So instead of hating on the guy, give him so credit that he is putting in some work whether you like him or not.

I certainly give him credit for his public appearances. His actual work is a different story. He's constantly changing course with most of his policy positions creating a chaotic environment. Most of the time, which is very well documented, he changes course that causes his already clueless cabinet to make adjustments in their policy implementation. Every damn thing but the border. That too is out of control with residual actions

I agree with you some of these changing positions especially on tariffs create uncertainty. I do think he is trying to do what others have blown hot air about - bring jobs back to the US. Clearly there are many things that can be stated about that. I will say if you look at small town USA today versus 30 years ago it has been gutted.

I have residences in two different small towns in Tennessee. Both have survived and are doing quite well. That's somewhat of an anomaly compared to most small towns in a deep red state. As much as I might detest the current government here in Tennessee, it's a dry spit to the overall joy of living here. Politics are cyclical in nature. I am well positioned from any adverse effects

I didn‘t fully realize growing up just what a special place Tennessee was. Then I started traveling and it began to dawn on me that I had been raised in one of the most beautiful and well mannered places in the whole world.

Summer evening twilight with the crickets and cicadas; fireflies in the trees, distant thunder and a cool breeze off of the mountain. It doesn’t get any better anywhere

Yes. Agree 100%. While this lifestyle wasn't gifted to me, I appreciate the results of making my home(s) here in this great state. Tennessee is an enigma of the "system". Mainly due to it's residents' apathy to cultural ideological changes

Sorry I missed the posts you referenced from earlier. I would like to make my main point be that Donald Trump is a terrible judge of character. He has a bad habit of appointing people based on personal loyalty more than ability.
Thankfully the current cabinet is pretty solid.
