President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Yeah, electronics get cheaper over time but typically it's the older tech that see the reduction.
New flat screens now are less than new flat screens from 20 years ago.

Which reminded me, remember when the country made the switch to HD TV so we all had to go out and buy new tvs?

The bolded part highlights the democrat philosophy of "by any means necessary" ...

From the article:

Nearing the six-month mark of President Trump’s frenetic second term, Democrats are fighting to find their footing and claw themselves from the wilds of the minority in next year’s midterm elections.

“Sadly, Democrats are still stuck in the same mud that they were in six months ago,” Democratic strategist Brad Bannon said. “We are still as unpopular as we were when Trump was inaugurated in January.”

Another strategist was even more grim.

“This is a nightmare scenario for the Dems right now,” the strategist said. “We better pray long and hard that the country is going to be in a f‑‑‑ing depression, because I don’t know how else we find ourselves out of this mess.”

The survey, conducted by Unite the Country, found not only that Democrats have failed to gain ground on Trump this year, but they’re less popular now than they were when he was elected in November.

More from Ken Langone : This was from April ....

Ken seems a little conflicted.
He sounds like a straight shooter. Wouldn't you rather have that than a MAGA cult member?

Sure it does when it happens during a tumultuous time.

There's clearly something else at play here. HD barely moved on news of this acquisition a couple of weeks back...

They reported weaker operatibg margins during May earnings release and they havent been part of recent bull market run...

Trump is kicking Democrats' ass worse than I've ever seen. I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts. We'll never have another Trump

I think construction is slowing.

Democrats praying for the US to go into a depression sounds accurate.

I had to buy a new TV last summer & a 55" was $500 cheaper than a 50" from long ago.

REAL CLEAR POLLING AVERAGES

President Donald Trump

Approve ............. 45.5%
Disapprove ........ 50.2%

10 of the 11 current polls on www.realclearpolling.com show that Donald Trump's approval ratings are under water.

Even a right-leaning pollster, whose polling data Donald Trump frequently retweets shows :

RASMUSSEN REPORTS

President Donald Trump

Approve ................ 47%
Disapprove ........... 51%

Is it possible that Donald Trump is unpopular right now, as well? Or are you going to tell me that Rasmussen Reports is biased against Donald Trump? That would be rich.

The Democratic Party woes are entirely self-inflicted.

Why? We only import about 2 million dollars a year worth from Brazil. They're like 5th or 6th in granite imports.
I can promise you that number isn't correct. If you searched it you may need to change that to "natural stone" because everything on a countertop is called "granite" when much of it isn't. It's like every solid surface is called "Corian" even though most isn't.

North Corian or South Corian?
