President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Not really, especially given that we are still shipping most of the ore to China for processing.

Do you believe excited out higher educated can be wrong?
Anyone can be wrong .....

.... but if you are going to accuse someone of being wrong, why not take one minute to explain the reasoning behind your opinion? Nobody did that. I had one response ask if the person who wrote the article was a 6th grader (which was why I posted a link to Neil Irwin's bio), and then I had another response which seemed to mock Columbia University (without any explanation given for why, they shouldn't be highly-regarded).

The ironic thing here, is that Neil Irwin is a conservative who wrote an article which was very positive about the current state of the American economy, and the Trump administration's handling of it. I'm convinced that just because I posted the link to it, the respondents here, jumped to the conclusion that it was an anti-Trump article .... but it's not.

You should take a minute and actually read the damn thing before commenting on it. We have some very lazy posters here, who make broad-based assumptions and don't actually read what they are commenting on.

Do me a favor and read the article I posted earlier .... I have posted another link to it below :

.... and then honestly answer 2 questions about it :

1) Does it really look as though it was written by a 6th grader?
2) Is it unfair to Donald Trump at all?

What I think happened, is the posters who replied to it, jumped to a conclusion that because I posted it, it must be a poorly written, liberal hit piece on Donald Trump, without actually clicking on the link and reading the article first. That is pure laziness.

She also wrote a book on 2021 about it.. Guess who is not mentioned
Also if there was any video from Russia or Epstein or anywhere else, the Dems would have leaked it prior to the past two times he ran. They tried to assassinate him twice, wire tapped Trump Tower, Impeached him twice, Sued him countless times, Had NYC take him to court and every other dirty tactic they could find ... But sure they had those Epstein tapes and just sat on them.

Maybe it is you do not understand what you are reading. What cost $439M estimated below provided by the owner of the mine?

In terms of the details, the capital cost estimate was completed by Fluor to an AACE Class 5 estimate including a 22% contingency and escalation. This is shown below.

Capital Costs($MM)
Mine$30
Processing Plant$439
Infrastructure$4
Total Before Contingency$473
Contingency & Escalation (22%)$106
Total Initial Capital Cost$579

Maybe you should go back and read the post I was replying to.

Political spin.
1. Jobs increased. That's good. There's almost always a revision 30 days later.
2. "Good" jobs are mentioned. What is a 'good' job? How is it defined?
3. How in the world can she be certain ALL the jobs were filled by American-born workers? Does that mean zero work visas were issued?
4. Wages are rising. That's good. But wages have a long way to go to catch up to our inflation of recent years.
5. The economy doesn't feel like it is booming to me. I think we are stable and growing. But we aren't booming.

so we are mining, building, and planning more REM processing facilities over the past 2 admins..one would think a good thing…yet beeching.

Under Biden, the data shows their focus was to employ Central and South American workers in the US.
Trump is working to reverse that flawed approach as 2M jobs have gone to native born workers since January with a decline of 543K foreign born workers during that same time period. Hence - good jobs.

Job revisions have happened and under Trump they have been INCREASED. - The job market in April and May of 2025 saw revisions to prior job growth numbers, with a combined increase of 16,000 jobs added, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

Inflation is back down and is manageable.

Regarding the economy, are we in a better place that we were 8-12 months ago? We are, and it’s only going to get better. Give it time.

A White House Press Secretary should be touting her administration's successes, but she really goes overboard with the statement that reads :

"American-born workers have accounted for ALL of the job gains since President Trump took office ...."

Now, how in the hell could she possibly know that? It crosses over into propaganda when you start making impossible to prove claims such as that. Her message would have been better without it.

Karoline Leavitt sad that ALL the job gains were of American-born workers.

Your criticism of her rings hollow.
