President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

We don't know what the Government’s review process is....at least i don't. Hog is also unaware.
You have traveled abroad. We're you processed into the country you visited?
only at the port of entry. I was, unfortunately, the loud American a couple times, and never had to provide my 'papers' once I was in.

I actually was kinda ticked, only Italy stamped my passport, I was able to talk the Austrians into also stamping it, but the Germans refused. call me old fashioned but the open borders in the EU kept my passport a lot emptier than I wanted it to be.

OK. You were processed in at the point of entry. There is a record of you, your reason for being in their country, and your passport. Correct?

This is near conspiratorial levels of delusion.

Ice has already detained/arrested American citizens and tossed them in the pig pen until it got sorted later. Not sure why you're acting like it's crazy when it already happened. While the likelihood of it happening to someone who looks like me or Louder is probably low, it's a legitimate concern from others and certainly not delusional for them to feel that way. Arrest em all and let god sort em out seems to be the strategy.

I and other posters are not aware of Ice's review process. Are you?

how so?

I have already established that Real ID doesn't prove citizenship. and I doubt ICE is accepting that. I would argue if they actually care about doing their jobs, they wouldn't accept Real ID.

  • Non-Citizens: Must submit original immigration documents for each driver’s license or ID service request.

and I pointed out how even if you were a legal immigrant at the time of issuance of the Real ID, that status can change with a stroke of Trump's pen. so its really not a viable proof of anything, which is why it was a dumb thing in the first place. like feeling up grandmas in the TSA line, I guess it makes people feel safe so its worth it somehow.

what's the conspiracy to my hypothetical? saying that the government is incompetent enough to get something wrong? arguing that a bigger government doesn't make bureaucracy any better/more effective? pointing out that the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Trump avoiding the typical deportation process?

just because it hasn't happened yet, to our knowledge because who expects a politician or bureaucrat to own up to anything, is small reason to trust the expansion of government powers while stepping on individual rights.

only in 2 of the 4 countries I entered. and one of those was specifically because I went and stood in a line I didn't need to just to get my passport stamped.

Great. So, when someone is in America with no passport and no record of being processed in, with no ability to produce any records of citizenship, what does that mean?

Whatever their review process was led to American citizens being tossed in holding cells.

They should have had the chip!
dude its totally fine. the government will 100% not abuse its power, and will definitely relinquish it once Trump magically deports all these illegals.

its not like Trump has a history of fumbling a national emergency and handing WAY too much power over to unelected individuals who took away personal rights during, and after, that time of emergency. he is a totally different person now.

Because you have the capacity to verify American citizenship.

it means that the average citizen is getting a trip in the ICE van to a detention center.

It doesn't. There's no need for hyperbole if your reasoning is sound.

You were processed in when you went to another country. You had documents. What does it mean when there is no record of entry into America and no documents?

given time to prepare, or the off-chance to hire a lawyer from a detention facility.

thats not the America I want to live in.
It's a challenge to produce a social security number and a copy of your birth certificate?

Can you link to specifics?
