A federal judge Monday denied an emergency motion from the Associated Press (AP) to restore its access to White House press pool events.

The AP made its motion in a suit filed in Washington against three White House officials, claiming the administration’s move violates the First Amendment.

U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden, appointed by President Donald Trump during his first administration, denied the emergency motion from the AP but ordered expedited consideration of the matter by the court.

Trump Administration some good and some bad.
Still the laughable lies are there that pits one group against another. Now expanding.
Trump likes to watch the pitting, the fighting and results.

Trump is just taking out the garbage. I don't see a bunch of fighting, its just looks like a garbage removal business to me.

There was a voice related thing fairly recently. I think somebody tried to frame a teacher or coach or something with a faked recording.

It's going to get hairy out there.
you have to be careful, there are some scammers out there who will spoof someone's number and fake their voice trying to get them to do something. its real life phishing.

Looked for the link. Didn't see it. I'll read if you post again.

Funding innovation does not mean spending trillions of dollars that we dont have on projects with limited oversight...
I'll entertain that we don't have the money the day the GOP entertains that tax cuts for the 1% are unnecessary and doesn't balance the budget.
Right now everyone in charge is in agreement that debt doesn't matter. To an extent, we really are just paying ourselves interest with our own money we loan to the government, but basically no one is actually serious about an all-of-the-above tax and spend reform.
But IF we are going to spend money we don't have, better the wind farm than Jeff Bezos.

Funding innovation is in our interest. Oil isn't gonna last forever and we are far too dependent on imports. Energy independence means being able to tell OPEC to screw off. You don't do that by riding oil and natural gas as your main horse forever. Keep our supply, work towards a mix of all of the above, and ideally go more nuclear. But wind, solar, hydro, etc works when used in the right places.

You fund the research and development. Same as we do with medicine and other technologies.
not always.

Look at Obama and Solyndra. That was an extremely promising technology that I have first hand experience with. Obama giving them billions SANK that company and doomed their innovations into the dustbin of failed companies.

there are plenty of other technologies that were either similarly flooded with funding forcing it to market before it was ready, or either was promising and on its way to market, but didn't meet whatever the current green trend was.

its kinda like the lottery "paradox". you give normal people hundreds of millions of dollars and they will more often than not end up less financially secure than where they started. people/companies/tech can't always handle huge influxes of cash.
