we are China's second biggest food provider. I think 3 of those 4 categories we are their top provider.

Brazil is the only country who ships them more, and the majority of that is beef alone, not so much on the rest. they will have a rough time replacing the level of food production from the US.

to put some scale on it, the food exports we send to China are more than the total food production of #3 on China's list. Indonesia is #3, total production is 33.5 billion. our food exports to China alone is 50.1 billion.

I believe most of that is grain right? The ones listed seem to be more for creating dissent than for real impact. Their need for imports shows how close they run to trouble

Edit: most is soybeans, pork, corn, wheat, nuts, cotton.

That's not even the question. Few will offer support for this statement. The question should be, "who still supports Trump?"

It's over, dude. He's fkn 78 years old and getting more out of touch by the moment. The only way to check him is if the overwhelming response of the people shows he's toxic and he loses most of his political allies. Because these Napoleon quotes, and philosophically challenging the power held by the courts, and crazy threats against political enemies, and banning media outlets over nothing, and trying to find a law that AOC has broken so we can imprison her because her dissent was not appreciated, and making legal people illegal so we can spend resources deporting those who help our economy, and handing over blind access to the government to the richest man in the world and lying to the courts about it, and starting potentially devastating trade wars for totally unclear reasons, and making allies into enemies, and...

It's all adding up real quick^, and it's clear the guy would take as much power as we give him. He's gotta be checked.

it will have a big impact. they have always been a net importer of food. the last time they tried to be more self supportive was the great leap backwards with millions starving and huge ecological disasters.

their food imports have been increasing. both in total dollar amount, as well as percentage of overall food consumed. and this isn't like America where we have an abundance of food, starvation is a problem over there already.

140 billion total food imports, we are 50 of that. it hurts.

I think they do. It works something like this:

The Ukrainian Army is doing facial recognition to identify all the 17 year old boys in the video and then will camp out at their doorsteps the day they turn 18.
At that point, those men will be kidnapped, stuffed into vans, taken to the front lines. There, they will be handed a rifle and martyred by bombs dropped from the sky by drones into the ditch grave dug by the previous expendable 18 year old.

Zelenskyy will then used images of the bloated, faceless corpses of the "heroic defenders of democracy" for his next set of propo videos for another cash grab.
He will then put off the next round of Ukrainian elections another 2 years, because no one else can possibly protect the Ukrainian people the way he can.

Zelenskyy can only hope enough of those dead heroes planted their seed in the buxom young comfort women shown in those videos to breed the next generation of his obedient serfs who will continue to feed his perpetual lust for blood.
