Sorry I was unaware the underlying point was sarcastic. There's a lot of people still who would come on here and try to take/use that "who beat who else" as a real/sound argument.


(and never really said anything along the lines of worrying me)

Fair point. While it's not an indication in and of itself, NC St.'s "great passing defense" got torched a bunch last year.

Barring major injuries, I think the VOLS are going to win some big games this year surprising alot of so called "experts". Me an expert, no. I've been watching football since the 60's, played some also.
The addition of two coachs, (JG and Sal) WILL improve two of three problem areas. I'm hoping the other has been addressed or we could bring the couch potato back.
We would have been in the big games last year had:(not sayin winning)
1. We had a running game.
2. We had not run into major player injury with no quality back-up.
3. I felt the D was not tough enough. The defensive backs/safety need to hit heads up and wrap up, not try to knock them down as their bouncing off afraid of full contact.
A lot of bull in the ring could cure this.:) I always loved that.

This year if (i'm hoping none of this happins) Bray goes down we should have one of the two step-up. We have more depth at linebacker and more depth at WR.
This will happin!
The Big Orange will turn it around this year, Coach D. Dooley will keep his job! For you Dooley haters SORRY.:crazy: lol have some crow... GBO and GCDD.

Haven't been paying close attention but that's largely a function of two things: 1) the Olando Sentinel online isn't free any more; and 2) I haven't heard anything that makes me want to really look into it.
