I have a nephew 6'1" 230Lb RB/LB/LS out of Hutch that could be a great PWO for UT. He just clocked a .67 snap time as an LS. High FB IQ, and a great student. How would one get UT to look at him?

Did I say he was a beast? he is

Maybe you could use the twitter to get him noticed?

Interesting. Apparently a well rated, TN born LS just transferred out, unable to see the field, because UT has a starter and a transfer came from Texas State.

If he has a .67 on LS, someone will pick him up, that's pro-level timing. And if that's the case, that's why they go to the Kohl's and Rubio camps because those guys have all the connections and know which program needs a LS. Supposedly the LS that just entered in to the portal was because he wanted to play something other than just LS, which means he probably isn't talented enough to do at a Power 5. (That's no offense to the kid)

Additionally, TN doesn't run a FB, and at 6'1" 230, so doubt he'd be suitable for anything else but FB with those measurables. so that's probably not an option. (Unless he's a Jamal Lewis-type freak athlete with speed to match the size.)
But you can reach out to them and send them his Hudl page/ link and get in touch with people up there, and you never know.

In all honesty his snap is not very fast for D1 .... takes too long ...

Thanks for the feedback, my only intention (self-serving) is to see a relative in Orange and White...period. He has great lateral movement, is strong as an ox, plows through tacklers, but you do have to consider the talent. Hutchinson does play quality teams though.

Thanks again............Go Vols!

If he is snapping .67 ..thats incredible ..that sNFL speed .. but I can guarantee that is no .67 in video .. probably in the .90 range
This was actually my first time analyzing a long snapper on film.

but...

In the video those snaps are not what I see from SEC or any power 5 game i watch. I assume the .67 or .90 is the time in seconds it takes that ball to be received by the punter?
I'd have to agree with you. It doesn't look like close to .5 second. Closer to 1 second.
