Shockey averages around 52.3 yards per game, and 1 TD per every 2.86 games.
Witten averages around 45.1 ypg, and 1 TD per every 4.5 games.
But you could make 2 arguments for Witten: 1) He's looked WAY better than Shockey so far this season and 2) Witten was underutilized throughout his first 3-4 years.

It's more pertaining to those who are just complete dicks to others about their predictions (not you)....
I'll make a prediction...
Week 8:
Bengals 27
Steelers 24
And I ALWAYS predict the right scores...k:
1. Rex Grossman will not last the season as the starting QB in Chicago.
2. Lane Kiffin will prove to be a sound, intelligent hire by the Raiders.
3. Carolina is going to continue their descent.
4. The Steelers will miss Bill Cowher far more than they'd lead people to believe.
5. The NFC West will be by far the most improved division in football.
6. The NFC North will be a disgrace to professional football.
7. Norv Turner and Wade Phillips will prove why retread coaches aren't a good idea.
8. Vernon Davis will emerge as the best TE in the NFL.
9. Stephen Jackson will rush for 1,800 yards.
10. New England will rout Seattle in the Super Bowl.
1.The Colts will miss June, Glenn, McFarland, and Harper and will go out in 2nd round.
2.Mike Nolan will continue to revise the 49ers and they will make the playoffs with the addition of Nate Clements.
3.Eric Mangini will continue to help the Jets as they will continue off of last seasons success.
4.The Saints will be the most overrated team this year. They will still make the playoffs, but will not be a threat in the NFC.5.Norv Turner will struggle with the Chargers and they will have a sup-bar year (I would consider anything under 13 wins and an AFC championship sub-par)
6.Once again Donovan McNabb will have an injury prone season leading Philly fans to want him replaced.
7.Jon Kitna will have a monster season
8.Stephen Jackson and Travis Henry will both have huge seasons (I don't think Henrys that good of a runningback but he'll succeed with the system.
9.New England will win the super bowl
i'll give the benefit of the doubt on that one...after seeing him play sunday, he is the real deal. he just isn't featured in that offense enough yet.How unpredictable the NFL is.
Stephen Jackson has a torn groin.
Vernon Davis = 8 catches so far
Steeler fans love Tomlin right now.
Charger fans hate Norv right now
yep. and the thing that got me was the first series that the niner's had the ball, they did a lot of rolling him out of the pocket, and moving him in to space, and he seemed to do that very well...drove the ball right down the feild and kicked a fg.Smith's sketchy play is an impediment to anyone on that team getting many catches.
