Since you now have seen the kind of product UT will be fielding this year, what do you think will happen the rest of the year?

Mine prediction is that UT will finish 8-4 with losses to Cal (duh), UF, UGA and Bama. South Carolina or Arky did not impress me yesterday. Kentucky might beat us if we dont find a secondary.

Losses to Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina.

I have a strangely good feeling about Arkansas, which I can't figure out why because they should run through us.

I think the secondary needs a little bit of help from the d-line. We couldn't pressure the quarterback last night. We've got to find a way to develop a pass rush.

So thats 7-5, and as for the bowl game, it depends on who we get, and if they have a good coach.

I'm telling you guys. Ron Zook could get this team to 8-4. We need to hire him.

I am confident we can score on Ufs D. They did not look that great.

I will say it again. If we try to run the same offense we did against Cal, it will work a lot less. Urban Meyer will be smart enough to figure out one play.

TN won't lose to all those teams.

Every one of those teams except UK will be better on D than Cal. Every one of those teams will be able to score 30 on us, and I don't see us doing it to them.

You better get real, Southern Miss and Arky State (who only lost to Texas 21-13 i think) are going to be TOUGH games for us with no defense. Vandy will be a big challenge too.

UF has the atletes on D to stop 5 yard hitches, ins and dump offs to the RBs. Im not as optimistic about it as you are. I think we could have some decent success running the ball though.

Guys.. it's not the O that's the problem! IT'S THE D!

Am I the only one that thought the O looked good (other than the lack of big play at WR)? We were sharp and physical and multiple. If we score as well and easily the rest of the way as we did against Cal we'll win a lot of games by simply out scoring people.

Our problem is the D- especially stopping the run and getting pass rush! If we can figure that out then I say we drop 2 more. (FL & Ark)

Ainge was averaging less than six yards per completion. That's not good. It's not normal to complete 32 passes and not have 300 yards, especially when your team is trailing the entire game.

I think we lose to Florida pretty bad. Then we lose 2-3 more in the regular season before losing in the Music City/Liberty/Independence Bowl.

Well, before last night I figured Cal to be a win with the games against Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina being toss ups, so...
