Predictions for Fulmers Future?

I'll bet it was half and half,I dont think he ran the offense for the NC game and I am sure Fulmer changed things on him from time to time. But it says alot when you are the OC at UT and you get a demotion job at KY. I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

you're not, and i'm not the only one who thinks the way i do. It does speak volumes that Fulmer and Sanders could not agree on a qb in '05 and Sanders later grumbled about not being able to expand the playbook and Sanders is now the one having more success IMO though.

I've never said this on this board and wasnt here at the time, but I believe deeeeeeep down that the Clasen brothers sucked as QB's. Expand the playbook all you want, ask Cut how that wouldve worked with Shuler.

I also predict ND will suck as long as Jimmy is playing there. My friend is a ND fan and I told him at the beginning of the season welcome to mediocrity and hope like hell you guys dont play in the rain.

We will see what kind of success he has after Woodson is gone

if casey clausen sucked, Sanders must be one he** of a qb coach to get that much out of him and it's official, that the wrong guy left Knoxville.

Clausen sucked and Randy did do a good job with him, but Clausen didnt do anything well enough to make Sanders look great.

we'll simply have to agree to disagree because being an east coaster, it's past my bedtime.. plus i've been in waaaaaaaay too many casey clausen debates. If for some reason you want my opinions, i'm sure you can dig them up, I'm done with that debate for a long long time.

I wish to God, Fulmer would win out, Florida would lose to UGA or SC, Tennessee would win the SEC, win their BCS Bowl game and Fulmer would resign, saying that the fan base has grown ignorant and unrealistic and he has given too much to this University to continue putting up with it.

I would think most would be happy with that.

While I agree that would be wonderful, Santa and the Easter Bunny died in a plane crash heading to the Bahamas for a vacation together.

There's a lot better chance the team wins out than there is that Fulmer would say anything close to that on the way out.

I just want everyone to shut the hell up, and if it takes Phil leaving after a succesful finish, I would welcome it.

As a supporter of Phil and a realist, I'm tired, and for the first time, I think maybe Phil is tired too.

If I were him I would be tired of watching the debacle that has been happening on the field myself.

Time to throw my opinion in the ring. For me Fulmer isnt so much the problem as the coordinators. Jo Pa beat us, or better said, his coordinators beat us in last years bowl game. Fulmer has the love of his players but the coordinators are the ones who have to kick their guys butts into gear. From everything Ive heard from former and current players Fulmer does his job of pep talking. So I will be pleased to see Chavis and Cut go at the end of the season and some serious young talent coming in to fill in those posts and let them battle it out for the HC job in the four or five years to come. But I know Fulmer wont let them both go without him so..... all will be back, some lower coaches will be moving on and we will be entering the 08 season pretty much the same as this year.

Nice idea but I don't see it happening. What young up and comming coach would want to risk their career by hitching their wagon to Fulmer and the current state of this program? Also Fulmer has never shown the ability or desire to let some "young tallent" come in and take control of the offense or defense under his watch. He is too much of a control person when it comes to this. I think this has alot to do with the situation he now finds himself in.

I have said nothing so far, but I still support Fullmer AND staff! Although my support is getting thinner by the week, I'm still there.

There is something to be said for a stable program and I still believe things will get back to where they used to be.

Flame me now!!!!!!:salute::salute::salute:

I like Phil too but this situation is getting to be alot like the Tubby Smith saga that was last year. He is a great guy that has done alot for the program but how long can you live in mediocrity and underachieving.

If Fulmer doesn't at least win the East next year I believe he will Fired.

As history has showed so far the gators have gotten better and better with Cryer at the helm. Im not saying we have no chance against the crybaby Gators, but they will be better next year than they are this year; it will take a perfect game and odds on that are gonna be low.

GO VOLS

Actually, the Gators record is already worse than last season's. I predict they lose at least one more game too. From national title to 3-losses? Sounds alot like Fulmer in '99.

Unlike CPF in 2000 they will compete for a national title next year.

The sad thing is the longer he stays the harder its going to be for the new staff to get us back.i would like to see him step down while the cupboard isn't totally bare.i mean the writing is on the wall this years class is looking
very subpar.the new staff is already going to have to have 3 or 4 classes in the top 5-10 to get us back to
the depth it takes to compete for a secc.
