Prediction: we win out convincingly

They're either gonna rally or completely collapse. We'll find out in 2 weeks - or possibly this week if things are really bad

Well you're pumping sunshine if you think Dobbs is gonna magically turn into a stud passer. Butch is still running this offense with a subpar QB

No. Jones said it himself, they went away from what's working, and I believe that's allowing Dobbs to run, or more designed plays for him to run.

Im not defending Dobbs or Jones, but if Dobbs runs the football, everything else just works.

I think we should win out, don't think it will happen though. I really believe Jones is the cancer and don't believe it will be put in remission.

I certainly hope the team rebounds and we blow the doors off of everyone we play the rest of the way. I think our offense is much better off without Hurd. I don't say that to disparage Hurd, because he's done a lot of really good things for us. But it just hasn't been his year. It hasn't clicked at all since game 1. Jon Kelly runs angrier than anybody we've had on our team since maybe Montario Hardesty, or I guess I'd put Hurd of last year up there too.

However... I think our team has deeper issues than just RB. We have had massive amounts of injuries, and they just keep coming. We can't stop the run, like..at all... mainly because of the injuries, and partly because I think we were overrated. And Dobbs, for the wonderful person that he is, is severely inconsistent. There have been games where I honestly believe aside from Lamar Jackson that he is the best QB in the country. Then other games, he looks like freshman Josh Dobbs. It's unreal.

I will be very impressed with the leadership of this team if they can withstand everything out there and finish 9-3. This is not the same team as the top 10 version with so much hope on August 31.

We should be 7-1. Without six turnovers, we defeat TAMU in College Station during regulation.

And without two extremely lucky plays we would be 3-5 right now. I predicted we would lose to USCe and it's highly possible we lose two more games. Hope not but certainly quite possible.

Win out convincingly? We haven't played a complete game yet this season. And with all the injuries and lack of game day coaching, unfortunately I do NOT see that happening. Team 120 is regressing. No signs point that we are going to start winning convincingly.

We can still finish in the top ten- but the turnaround will be 1-difficult2- unlikely. Possible yes- likely- not as much.

I agree with you. Hurd gone means the ball will go to Kelly, Fils-Aime, and in a few weeks Kamara...all of whom are better fits for this system. Plus, I think Hurd leaving will have positive benefits for the locker room. Personally I think it says a lot that the backup running back was voted a team captain over the 3 year starter...plus Hurd normally was alone on the sideline and was not interacting with teammates while on the bench.

Best of luck to him going forward, and whether it be at RB or TE I think he will be successful once his heart is back in it

Outside of Tennessee Tech every game will be close. If we couldn't beat SC no game is a guarantee going forward.

After these last 8 games, I don't see how anyone could predict what they think will happen in the next 5 with a straight face.

The stupid thing is, if we win out and UF loses to Arkansas AND LSU (which is absolutely possible).. we still go to the SEC championship game. (And get destroyed by the Gumps again.)

You apparently haven't been watching the games. This team isn't coached well. They've had 8 weeks of football games to improve, they haven't. I say they split Kentucky and Vandy, go 8-4. Beat Bunghole St in the Turd bowl and everyone will claim the famous line "Wait til next year"..

I usually don't pump sunshine. I'd say I'm more of a realist. Judging by what happened with Hurd and the accusations about his attitude/ego, I see it this way....

This team responds and wins out, with authority. The medical professional in me will say that if you remove the offensive agent, healing takes place and the body responds. I see it the same with UT football. Remove the offending agents (Hurd, PWill, etc) and this team can focus without tension in the locker room.

Or I could just be full of it and have no clue what I'm talking about. Who knows, but I'd like to find out

Prediction we lose to Kentucky.

Yes, Butch has shown himself to respond well to adversity. He always seems to make the right adjustments.

Have you watched any of our games? What even remotely gives you the idea we could win the sec championship?

Because it appears that our season has been hampered by a prima dona RB who hasn't given much effort and has been poisoning the team from within. FYI - the cancer has removed itself. Now if only Dobbs were accurate.........

Sure. Jalen caused all those issues by himself

I see Tennessee is in fact back.

Back to where winning out the end of the schedule is supposedly some big accomplishment.
