I usually don't pump sunshine. I'd say I'm more of a realist. Judging by what happened with Hurd and the accusations about his attitude/ego, I see it this way....

This team responds and wins out, with authority. The medical professional in me will say that if you remove the offensive agent, healing takes place and the body responds. I see it the same with UT football. Remove the offending agents (Hurd, PWill, etc) and this team can focus without tension in the locker room.

Or I could just be full of it and have no clue what I'm talking about. Who knows, but I'd like to find out

I hope you are correct. Adversity usually brings a team together. This might be one of the more important bricks.

The most Tennessee thing ever is to win out and FL lose to Arkansas and LSU. I don't see it happening that way but the roller coaster ride that we can't seem to get off of may allow that to happen.

I hope your right! Maybe that loss, and all the drama since then will help this team refocus and come out inspired and finish strong. We are still better than anyone left on our schedule, but it's time we take care of business.

Actually the most tennessee thing ever would be FL lose to Arkansas and LSU and then tennessee lose by 1 point to vandy. Then FL goes to atl

that's great and all, and you may be right...but really, what does it matter at this point?

and if you are right, isn't that more an indictment on the leadership involved here? that it was afforded the opportunity to get to this point in the first place? this is big boy football with real stakes on the line.

and while i'm all for player led teams, the staff has to have some ownership here if there was an "offending agent". the worst thing a leader can do is allow that to develop in and amongst the other team members, and nothing be done about it.

i don't expect CBJ to come out and throw anyone under the bus, even if it is warranted mind you....but you can't let something like that fester.

if the tone and attitude of the team is magically better now that he's gone, then that tells me something about the overall leadership they're providing.

We should win out convincingly. No excuse not to. We should be 6-2 no excuses.

I like that you can admit that you could be wrong..plus like from me...what if the cancer is jones himself??

Not that I'm a supporter of Butch, but it just seems that Hurd was more of a locker room issue than Jones. I don't deny that Jones needs to look internally at himself and his staff members, offensive scheme, etc. But I wouldn't be shocked if this team responds and wins out

More likely than not. But considering how many we are down on the D-line, I don't look for any blow-outs, save this week.

Convincingly is not a word I'd use at this point in the season with our play calling and execution.

Well you're pumping sunshine if you think Dobbs is gonna magically turn into a stud passer. Butch is still running this offense with a subpar QB

In fairness he has shown flashes. See the Florida game this year. It's just not consistent unfortunately.
