Prediction for UT v UGA (Merged)

Hopefully, moreno's still banged up--that's UT's only hope for an upset.

Moreno has said he has fine to go, but boys I talked to a close alumni at UGA and he said that Moreno says he's good to go but he knows that he isn't 100 percent, after all in the bama game Moreno took some pretty nasty shots, including that one to the elbow on the carrying arm that could take a while to heal.

Does anyone think that after the strides made in the passing game that they can beat GA. I mean with an entire week of practice with first team snaps, pass timing, protection by the O line, and figuring out how the run game is going to start working. Plus a week for our recievers to learn how to catch now that they have someone can get the ball to them. It could be a productive week. ( If they work like heck), but does anyone think they can pull it off?:)

Our defense will keep us within a respectable amount of points. I'll say UGA 33, TN 13

UT 24
UGA 21
Georgia's 15 hurt starters after the bama game have put the dawgs in jeopardy and only 6 of the 15 hurt will get the start, bama did show everyone how to beat UGA, run at him hard and wear em out. Give the ball to Hardesty most of the time and let Stephens open up with that Cannon after some runs and go with a little play action.

Can you tell me who the 15 hurt starters are? I've not heard anything close to that. Durham (receiver) and Battle (DE) are the only injuries that I've heard about.:eek:hmy:

Hmm. Realistically I think its something like 20-14 UGA. Similar to Tennessee, I have not been impressed with UGA's offensive line play, and really their offense in general thus far. Their defense, however, has been a bit better than expected; as has ours. Nevertheless, as much as I hate the Tennessee program and our coaches right now I see us improving this weekednd as we usually do this time of year.

Britton Colquitt will help a lot more than most expect, and I see us losing a close game like I said, or even winning a close one. As bad as this team is I still see UT winning either the UGA, or Bama game. We always win one like that every year, and sadly as of late we tend to lose one or a few we shouldn't each and every year.

Nick Stephens will get his first true test in the SEC, and I expect he and our team will at least compete, much like we did in the Auburn game. Tenn, Auburn, and UGA are very similar in terms of their collective strengths and weaknesses thus far, and I certainly expect no different this Saturday. One of the UT or UGA teams should give the game away with field position and or stupid coaching. Based on that I expect UT to lose...naturally, but again I am somewhat perplexed as to how much more "special" our special teams could be with Colquitt back, and a slick new QB in Nick Stephens. Most of it will come down to whether our O-line decides to show up Saturday like last years UGA game. They better because they sure did not yesterday...

Not that i agree with this lunatic. But, you would of said the same thing if someone told you Bama would be up 31-0 at halftime

I have to agree with you. Definatley would not have thought that. But evenn if you manage the same first halfe performance as Bama we still score more than 3.

21-17 Tennessee! Stephens beats dogs deap once for a score, then march another one down the field for a td pass to brandon warren in the back of endzone, then foster hardesty pound out a scoring drive. GA turns the ball over a few times momentum swings. Fulmer somehow contiunes to win between the hedges

I picked us to get beat earlier but it is football and crazier things have happened. We might just pull one out of our ass this weekend. GO VOLS
