Typical UT game. We'll turn the ball over early, with Vandy taking an opportunistic 7-0 lead. Our offense struggles early as does our defense. By halftime, the Vandy lead is 13-0. The Vol Nation board will be filled with Fulmer critics and the new board rules will be broken many times.

Second half, Vols score on first drive...13-7. Vols get a turnover on the next possession and score on a 3 play drive....13-14. Vandy is shut out on ther ensuing possession, Vols uncharacteristically return the punt 35 yards and consequently score 4 plays later. 13-21.

Vandy gives up all hope in the 4th quarter amanging only 1 fg whereas the Vols put up another 14. final score Vandy 16- Vols 35.
