I think the article makes a great point that I've thought about for awhile. This isn't about it Aguilar can be better than what Nico would have been this year. It's really about if he can be better than what Nico did last year. If that's the question, I think the answer is easily yes.

Agreed. If the running game can be the same, defense the same or better, and QB play equal or better (shouldn’t be hard) we could be a very hard team to beat.
That’s why all these law predictions shock me. Our defense looks good, our running game is always good. I’m optimistic
He’s a better runner and has proof that he can spin the long ball. If he leaned this offense and can run it fast, I don’t see how we miss the playoffs.I wonder how much time Nico actually spent studying the playbook. If JA is dedicated to learning the system he may play well enough that TN makes the playoffs again.
Another reason could be they played from behind a lot and it was predictable that they would be throwing. Plus, he probably was forced to take more chances and force more throws than he will have to do here. He will have open WR,'s and will have a really good run game and defense to lean on. Also, Heupel puts his QB's in really good spots that limits their Int's. I'll be shocked if he hits double digit interceptions.Of his INT’s, how many of them were related to the receiver not being at the correct placement? If that was an/the issue, surely with competent DI SEC receivers, that would no longer be an/the issue.
