then bobby bouche shows up at halftime and the muddogs win the bourbon bowl. wow that illustrious bourbon bowl...if only we were so lucky. Honestly who wants to play in the outback bowl when you can go to the bourbon bowl.

I wonder what Phil would do for that playbook?

It's okay you don't know them. I only know three of your players and your game was on tv. Lots of "no names" at USM have done big things. You probably should know McGrath though since he's on about 4 watch lists for awards

lets hope it's not Ainge steps back in the pocket finds no receivers open and is sacked for a loss. Lets hope it's Ainge steps back in the pocket and fires one down the field picked up by our TE for a first down and the beginning of a drive that ends with a 6 and a PAT.

see i knew about Nelson though. I've known quite a few players on USM over the years...just not the two defensive players you mentioned. I remember Michael Boley especially. He was a really good one.

Boley was good. Don't forget arguably one of the greatest USM defenders ever Adalius Thomas. I'm sure Pitt remembers him and Pat Surtain.

Congratulations to you as well for completing a post without saying the name Brett Favre. Very uncommon with USM fans.

If I were in my right mind, I'd say something like "Foster up the middle" or maybe "5 yard dump off to Lucas Taylor". But I'm feeling optimistic today, so...

Play action pass, pump fake, 40 yard bomb to Austin Rogers :)

What do you guys think?

Go vols

That would be SWEET!!!!HELL YEAH!!!!

We weren't talking about offense we were talking about defense. Its about the same as Tennessee fans talking about offense without saying Peyton Manning. I could mention plenty of players we just happened to be talking about defense. :)

Also while Brett is a great Alumnus of the school he doesn't give crap back to the school and is overall a jerk. Great football player but sucks at life as a person.

I think we kick the ball to SM first and then they take it at the 20 and they hand it off to Fletcher 3 times but MR. STUD BERRY wont allow them past the 29 yard line. GO VOLS!!!

You know you guys say that as a joke but Neyland was known to punt on 2nd and 3rd downs...he had more faith in his defense than he did his offense...

...how did he work out anyways?

This ain't the 1938/1939 Vols defense. And Fulmer ain't Neyland.
