The day I listen to LG about anything sports related is the day I die.
LG, defend yourself immediately...
victoryville101 must be LG's new boyfriend.
Well then I guess you're as stupid as he is.
never said he was a genius or the schwab, just said he gives some good insight Papa
I've been picking Florida to win this game pretty much every year since 1992. Just so happens I've been right the last few.
As to this year, I see no reason to deviate from my normal pick. To the contrary, given the enormous question marks on UT's offense and the fact that Florida's offense will be one of the top 2 or 3 in the country and that their defense should be better, the pick here is a given.
Not to say that UT can't win. You have home field, after all. And the game does not always turn out the way we might envision -- its SEC football after all. And who knows what may transpire between now and then in terms of injuries, sentencing hearings, etc.
But anyone who actually sits down and on paper figures out a way to make UT the favorite at this point is just smoking crack.

Will we be seeing you up in Knoxville for this one LG1?
Our new offensive onslaught will have you guys on your heels the whole game. Our defensive secondary a.k.a The Goon Squad " will have Tebow playing safety all game. Our LB's are ready to hit Tebow square in the mouth if he takes off running. Oh did I mention The Goon Squad, yeah I did so no reason to go over that again !
All I am saying is that you really have to try hard to come up with a way right now to make UT the favorite. Not saying they can't win and its still 5 months away. So who knows?
Well from a reality standpoint and just not a fan standpoint. I feel more confortable about playing you guys this year more than I have been in the previous 4 or 5
Really? That is surprising.
My personal feeling is that I have no doubt but that we are going to score plenty. I think somewhere in the upper 30's is a reasonable expectation.
As to what you can score, that to me is the big question. You have an unproven QB and a new system. There's talent in spots, but anyone who says they know for sure how well or how poorly its going to work is lying, including me.
Because of the changes on your end on offense and the fact that I think any reasonable person has to think that Florida will be able to score consistently, I just don't see how you can make UT a favorite.
Can they win? Yes.
Can they be competitive? Yes.
But UT has so many unknwons right now and they face a fairly veteran squad in Florida at so many key positions that its just speculation to say that its likely that UT wins the game.
