Just wondering what you guys think the score will be in the next 5 Florida-Tennessee matchups.

2010: Florida at Tennessee
2011: Tennessee at Florida
2012: Florida at Tennessee
2013: Tennessee at Florida
2014: Florida at Tennessee

10 - 20 - 17 either way.
11 - 28 - 24 vols.
12 - 24 - 21 vols.
13 - 35 - 14 vols
14 - 21 - 18 vols.

4 in a row is solely based on whether we can keep the current staff in place.

We are getting a little ahead of ourselves don't ya think? So many factors can determine the outcome of a game.

I believe that the games between Vols and gators will be close games in the next couple years untill the coaching staff get all of their own recuiting player at Tenn. then we start blow them off the fields.

Honestly as of right now I don't see a win next year. Florida will lose some people but we will lose a lot too. We lose our entire offensive line, counting McNeil. But I guess we get Cody Sullins back. We also lose both of our TE's. We also lose Quentin Hancock, Montario Hardesty and it looks like Stephens is going to be at QB next season.

On defense we lose all three starting LB's, DT's Dan Williams and Wes Brown, Eric Berry is more than likely gone, and if Chris Walker keeps playing the way he is he has a shot to leave early if he wants as well.

IMO next year could be harder than this year because thats when that bad 2008 recruiting class is really going to show up. All the 2005 guys will be gone, very few 2006 guys left from a marginal class, a lot of the good prospects from the 2007 class left the program last spring and or the best players from that class will have the option to leave for the NFL after this year. So we will enter next year with a few decent guys left from 2007, a mostly lackluster 2008 class, a still very young 2009 class, and freshman 2010 class. I'm not expecting anything that great until possibly 2011 and more likely 2012.

2010 Tennessee will be playing a Freshman QB (Whomever he is) and be without Hardesty and Berry. Florida will win then. In 2011 It will be back in the swamp and Florida will win then. Tennessee will have thier best chance of winning in 2012, back at Knoxville. They will lose again at the swamp in 2013. I will say Tennessee will go 1-4 or 0-5 versus Florida in the next 5 years. I don't know what the rest of their SEC schedule looks like in 2012, but that should be UTs year.

Too hard to predict them all but I will say this that all the games will be close in the next 5 years since Tennessee is starting to get all those great players in recruiting.

Depends on your definition of close. It appears that having the loss never in doubt and end up losing by double digits is "close" to people on this board, so you're right, it's probably gonna be "close" the next 5 years.

That's kind of similar to how you've been "close" to a woman before.

If there are no coaching staff changes and the talent gap continues to close then this series is about to flip on its head.

I got a lot of argument from UT fans about the importance of UT losing well back in the summer. I said that benefits would be reaped if UT kept it close and especially if it appeared that UT had outcoached UF. UT got the next best thing to a win.

The Vols kept it close... and Kiffin & Co outcoached Meyer & Co. Before any of you go off, there's really no other credible explanation for how it stayed that close.
