So I know this is going to be one of the biggest ? marks for next year.. just figured you recruiting gurus could make an educated guess at what it MIGHT look like.

Aaron Douglas LT
Kevin Revis LG
Cody Sullins C
Jose Jose RG
Jerquari Schofield RT

Jose isn't ready yet to play guard. Way too much weight especially for a guard. The guards should be the two most athletic lineman(for pulling blocks, etc.)

Sullins twins are seniors and Revis is still only around 260 and far from game ready. Revis is considered a developmental prospect and wont see playing time until rJR or rSR year.

You don't want a massive center. Normally they are around 280-290, which is a very attainable goal for him especially with our weight program. He also has the smarts to be the general of our line.

I agree, but from everything I've heard from people with the team he is far from ready and he isn't expected to play for a couple years.

You might be right. I just hope someone steps up, whether it's Revis, Pope, or someone else I just can't think of right now.

maybe something like this, I pray:

LT Aaron Douglas
LG Jarod Shaw
C Josh McNeil/ Cody Pope
RG Brimfield/ Schofield
RT Cullen/ Dallas Thomas

In other words, I have no friggin' idea!! :eek:lol:

McNeil's career is over if you've been living under a rock. The rest of the line other than Shaw and Douglas is anyone's guess. I expect Schofield to be a probably starter but other than that we'll just have to see when the newcomers get into camp.

Not sure why, but no one thinks Jawaun James could start if he signs (which I think he will)?? Just wondering what thoughts were on him... Thanks!

You never know with McNeil......if he could get a redshirt this year, he may make a comeback......stranger things have happened.......I'm sure CLK would love to have even a banged-up McNeil back, if you look at that horrid depth chart next year.....

Hard to imagine any true frosh starting in the SEC.......but all jobs except Douglas will be open, IMO

Man we may be hearing different things. I think Dr. James Andrews cannot help McNeil. He has all heart, and he was a projected All American but even he laughs about that because he knew he could not go to the NFL. He will be lucky if he can walk as a 30 year old without pain. He really pushed his body even though he was injured over and over and over. Only so much you can do when there is no cartilage left and your knees and bone and scar tissue.

I agree the chart looks bad. I think we will have lots of two TE sets with TE protecting the QB next year.

I think Hood may start, I think Douglas certainly will. I think Cullen may get a spot also. JaWuan James seems less ready to go out of the box to me than Chaz Green.

All of these lineups look scary right now. And I don't mean that in a good way.

Haha.....well maybe this cheers u up a little bit:

LT Cullen
LG Shaw
C Pope
RG Brimfield/ Schofield
RT Douglas

Actually, this would not be too bad....with some Chuckie Curry added for spice.......:eek:lol:
