QB- Crompton - (how long he holds on I don't know)
RB - Hardesty - (Hard to argue here)
FB/2nd RB - Cooper/Bryce Brown
C - Josh McNeil (no way he loses his spot)
G - V. Richard (Gonna be a beast)
G - J. McClendon (....)
T - Really not sure here...Douglas I guess but I don't know.
T- C.Scott (huge year)
TE - Stocker if he gets healthy
WR - Gerald Jones
WR - Brandon Warren
(should only be 2 W-outs to make 11 players)

DE - Walker (duh)
DE - Gerald Williams (I think he continues to improve and dominates.)
DT - Big Dan
DT - Wes Brown/Hughes (depending on Browns health)
MLB - Reviez - he is really stepping up
WLB - Thompson
SLB - Rico (could have these two mixed up.)
CB- Art!
CB - Rogan
S - Waggener (think he steps in and allows Rogan to move back to corner!)
S - Berry

Nice list. I second your unfortunate prognostication on Wes Brown's season. I think Richardson starts over Hancock just to help stretch the field, IMO.

QB- Crompton (with a splash of Nuke!)
RB- Hardesty
FB- Coop
WR- Warren (big year if he decides he wants it)
WR- Jones (leader of the group)
WR- Nuke (athlete and playmaker)
TE- Cottam (Bigger, better hands)
T- Scott (average year)
G- Richard (animal)
C- McNeil (solid season if stays healthy)
G- McClendon (stongest on the team)
T- Shaw ( Douglas not quite ready)

DE- Williams (needs to stay dedicated)
DT- Williams (anchor)
DT- Hughes (raw power)
DE- Walker (playmaker)
LB- Thompson (strong side should do ok)
LB- Reivez ( little engine that could)
LB- McCoy ( has to lead and make plays)
C- Vinson (lock down type must stay focused)
C- Rogan (athlete)
SS- Berry ( need I comment?)
FS- Jackson (freshman has size and speed to be a player)

McNeil will start over Sullins.
Shaw will start over Douglas.
Can't have 12 plays on offense, so Jones and Hancock start.
Frazier will start over Thompson.
I think the secondary will be a little bit different than that, but can't really say what it will look like.

You sound like an idiot...Way to go.

Don't you know you have to have Rod Wilks in at least half of the positions?

I think the secondary will be a little bit different than that, but can't really say what it will look like.

Sullins was already at least even, if not moving slightly ahead of McNeil, and now McNeil is losing some practice time with an injury. I think it is very likely that Sullins is the starter at Center against WKU.

One of the top QB recruits coming out of high school.
5th year as a college player. Sound great, right?
He blew his opportunity last year and got benched.
Having to battle off Nick freaking Stephens for the job this year.
I agree that he'll win the starting spot, but "well deserved" is hardly the way I'd describe it.

I think Stephens has a better chance than some may think to take the starting job. The fact that he and Crompton are close to even right now says a lot about how much he's caught up after losing the Spring.

I suspect Kiffin would be calling the quarterback competition "close" no matter what this year. He's saying that to keep both guys pushing each other. He wants to keep Crompton focused and hungry.

I think Crompton will definitely start the season as the top QB and it's already virtually locked up. Kiffin is just keeping them working.

QB: Jonathon Crompton
RB: Hardesty
FB: Cooper
WR: Gerald Jones
WR: Quentin Hancock
WR: Brandon Warren
TE: Stocker
T: Shaw
T: Scott
G: McClendon
G: Richard
C: McNeil
(for those same ding dongs who keep saying you only have 11 players on offense... it's called different sets. When the FB is out another wideout or tight end may be out)

DE: Chris Walker
DE: Gerald Williams
DT: Dan Williams
DT: Wes Brown
LB: Herman Lathers
LB: Lamarcus Thompson
LB: Rico McCoy
CB: Brent Vinson
CB: Art Evans
FS: Prentiss Wagner
SS: Eric Berry

This isn't as much what I want, but more of what I think from hearing from practices and stuff the lineup will be. As of now, the only positions I see that could change are MLB, DT, and WR. other than that I think this will be the starters come the fifth.

I really hope Nick gets the nod... at least he could get the handoff and get it to the RB without any issues. If that is our offense for 66%-75% of the plays we will go 8-4 minimum

I like this lineup the best and think it is closest to what we will see. However, one thing you can count on is that Wes Brown will be the starter along side Dan Williams. He seems to have become a leader from both the players and coaches perspective.

I know Reveiz is emerging as a leader, knowledgable, and a hard worker - but I'm worried about his athletic ability in this defense. I see him starting too, but I hope I'm wrong.
