Hoping JG surprises us all but I agree explosive and JG in the same sentence seem mutually exclusive.

Based on history it is much more likely he unravels.

He reminds me of a QB on a team that could go 10-2 with solid QB play but is limited by the QB position and they struggle to 8-4. On this UT team it's from 8-4 to 5-7 and that is generous right now.

As long as the o-line protects him, running game produces, receivers don’t continue to over run routes, and the defense can contain Trask, JG will be fine.
