We lost some people here in Arkansas up the road in Vilonia and the storm wasn't even as bad when it came through here. Many, many prayers have been said. Be safe people.

My daughter's car by the UT Med Ctr area got major hail damage. All the students are down in 1st floor levels of their apts. Thank goodness she and friends are OK.

25 confirmed dead in Alabama as of now. Tuscaloosa was hit very hard. Luckily the tornadoes went just NW of where I live. Prayers go out to all the people affected by this weather.

Between the tornadoes, hail, and record flooding, I can't remember a storm as epic as this one has been for the last few days. I can only imagine the fatalities if this would have occurred in a time without advanced warning.

My thoughts and prayers to all affected. May God heal the wounds and restore any losses.

It did happen, check it out: April 3, 1974 - The Tornado Super Outbreak

I lived it then, but I was only 6, and I lived it today, working in Huntsville, AL. I drove home over parts of people's leveled houses, through water 3-4 feet deep, etc. I was only 6 in '74, so this is the worst I can really remember, and appreciate the level of devastation.

My prayers to everyone involved. Myself and my family were very blessed to miss this one.
