Thank you for the update! I will continue to pray for James and the entire family as they deal with this event! Psalms 55:22 gives me comfort at times like this. Please keep us updated!

As much as we bicker and argue on here, at the end of the day we're all family here. Glad to hear he's doing well. He'll be in my prayers.

Please keep us updated on Little James. For me and I'm sure for others, this cuts particularly close to home but remember a full recovery is possible. And even if doctors use the dreaded 'possible brain damage' words don't lose hope or ever give up that he'll see a full recovery. He's young enough to where his brain can simply rewire itself (happens all the time and of course various therapies help tons).

The most important thing is that he's alive. He made it through the night. Doctors are always cautious in these situations but I believe Little James has a fantastic shot of 100 percent recovery.

Much love to your family. Stay strong and don't give up hope.

I don't think there could be a worse feeling in your stomach than having to find your child/grandchild in water like that. Hope the little guy makes a full recovery.

They have James in some sort of cooling process to help prevent any damage to his Brain.. His vitals are good.. Thanks everyone for the prayers

amen WV , I was thinking about the grandfather too , and how guilty I would feel if it had happened to me . Let's just hope and pray this situation comes to a good end .

You bet .. I love college football but it pales in comparison to family and other loved ones. Lost a child myself and wouldn't wish this on my worst enemies. Let us call on our Heavenly Father to keep this little guy hanging on.
