My wife's 13 year old niece was just killed in a car wreck in Junction City, TX. Sweetest girl you could ever meet. Her mom has a broken back, nose, and collarbone. Fell asleep driving. Her name was Shaniah.

I will pray for the family. I have two daughters and I know that loosing them would be the hardest thing to go through. What I remind myself in case something like that does happen is what my sunday school teacher said, " DO NOT LIVE FOR ANYTHING THAT CAN BE TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IS EVERLASTING" I know it is easier said than done, I pray that GOD takes this bad situation and turns it into good.

Wow. A long hard road ahead. I have prayed that her faith will be sustained and that she will find her sufficiency in Christ.

A friend of mine caused the death of his son, and he found solace in this verse from 2 Corinthians.

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

He clung to a message he had heard about how the jar had to be cracked for the light of Christ to shine through. It was difficult but they made it through. I will pray that your family does also.
