Summer is my busy time. Add the fact that we got a new SecDef, and now a new Joint Chief Of Staff plus all kinds of turnover at work and y’all may think I’ve forgotten about mah Zone frannnds. I haven’t!

I really don’t know. When I was waiting around for the “supposed surgery” for months, I called local, Nashville and Federal, to find out where I stood. It all seemed like a cycle and circle of referrals to whom to go to next.

Niceville. My visits to the panhandle were in the '70s. Scamp (brown grouper) was a local favorite around Destin. It wasn't expensive, but when local restaurants featured it on the menu, patronage went up. I had it a couple of times and enjoyed it.

Last time I went down in that area we got a place at Navarre Beach. Same sand and water as Destin or Ft Walton but not the gridlock traffic all the time. Very laid back and enjoyable.
