Lol, you guys are awesome.
But seriously Behr, I truly hope you are in good shape and no troubles come your way.
Just seems reasonable that you keep my barbecue sauce with you just in case you do have to make any evasive maneuvers. Just common courtesy when you think about it.

yes its only a game..... but I,really don't recall a good deal of sympathy when Gatlinburg was burning

yea its only life but i dont remember you giving a **** when mine fell apart.

Do you even know gator fans, or do you immediately start urinating in their direction on sight?

Yea man, I'll be fine. It does look like its coming right at me and I wasn't expecting that yesterday. Gonna get interesting for sure. This ain't my first one, although it will be my first one sober. Come to think about, I might not be fine. Lol.

Thanks for the concern.

Ok, but if that thing actually devastates the state it will take more than thinking about it. Actual acts surpass pleasant thoughts every time. Every time. I will most likely be in texas sometime later this month. Was in Baton Rouge last year helping to clean up that flood. Again , not to take anything away from you here OP, just saying that actions speak louder than words. Anything you can physically do to help would be much appreciated!

I think you will find most will step up to help when the time comes, so there's no need to stand on a stump. And we are doing more than thinking. We are praying.

I would appreciate your prayers . My wife and I are riding it out in Venice, which is just south of Sarasota.

Be safe. Models shifting in direction of ft Myers or even a tad north. Cuba might weaken it, but it will have plenty of time to recover.

Yeah I'm ok. I am drunk because I've been drinking in beach all afternoon but no problems. Our trip home is clear on the roads according to WAYS app right now. It's really just 75 that's shut down. We are leaving tomorrow morning because everyone has to get back to work , with a healthy tan. Won't post much because I'm drinking a lot right now (last day). But the pan handle is good. We are in the pensacola area and nobody is panicking.

Of course nobody is panicking. They are breathing the fumes off whatever you are drinking. Catatonic people can't panic.

Let me tell ya'll about my last few days!!
I have a house in Port Charlotte (between Sarasota n Ft. Myers) bought it a yr ago next wk. Monday night watching our Vols, I got a call from my neighbor in Fl. telling me Governor had just declared state of emergency.
Tue. morning I left the Cookeville area to go put up storm shutters etc. Twelve hrs. of hard driving later I arrived around midnight. Wed. was spent putting up shutters n other things I deemed necessary plus helping my three "great" neighbors (who are permanent residents) put up their shutters etc. Really tired I went to bed early.
TTh morning I loaded up guns n stuff I didn't wanna take a change loosing and headed to I75 N. Traffic was flowing well......till I got to Tampa.
In my worst nightmare, I could not imagine the traffic that I encountered. It took me 17 hours to get back here this morning at 5 a.m.
Three lanes, bumper to bumper, stop n go all the way to Atlanta. There were lines to get off interstate, lines to get gas, lines n the restroom n nothing but brake lights as far as your could see. Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone for the prayers. Looks like the hurricane is drifting to the western part of the state. :(

On a football note, coming thru Gainsville, I found a sports talk radio station talking SEC football. They are NOT happy with what's going on at UF. They even had Spurrier on the phone whom the show host said had been hired by UF in an "advisory" capacity. Host tried to get something negative out of Spurrier but all he would say was "I would do some thing differently".

And, yes, I wish everyone in the state of Florida remains safe. I truly hope the aftermath is as far from suffering as possible.

Anyone who has had a loved one in as uncertain position as this knows the mental anguish that many feel now.

Those going down for the game next week (if it's held there) should consider hooking up with a charity organization and either bring some supplies (various groups will have lists of what is needed) or volunteer some of your time to help out.

If nothing else, this hurricane has made me notice how well Stephanie Abrams fills out a t-shirt!
