You guys have truly brought blessings in this horrible time for my friend and his family. This is an amazing sight. So many kind words for a stranger and their family. This is what being a Volunteer truly is. Thank you all for reminding me.

I'm putting a link here for a donation to the family. We have helped them reach their goal for the funeral, but if anyone is able to help, it is more than appreciated. It isn't expected, but simply here in case anyone wants to help the family.

There's never a good time for a tragedy like this, but to happen right before the holidays...makes my heart ache for this family even more. May God wrap his arms around this family and hold them tight.

And...let's all cherish our families this holiday season.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, if you pray. If not, at least keep their family in your thoughts and hug your babies, no matter how old they are.

My cousin posted this on facebook. Her son was friends with him. Apparently, his sister is still in critical condition. Praying...

It's been a rough couple of weeks in the White House / Portland area. 4 teens from Portland turned in front of a semi...2 killed there, now this little guy is gone and sister in Vanderbilt in bad shape.

I just went and hugged my 1 year old son with tears in my eyes. I hate these stories more than anything.

O God, whose beloved Son took children into his arms and blessed them: Give us grace to entrust this child to your never-failing care and love, and bring us all to your heavenly kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Thoughts and prayers to the family of this young Vol. I can't even imagine the pain they must be going through.

Thank you Wylo for the update. Praying for comfort and peace for this entire family and friends. God bless you and everyone dealing with this tragedy.

We take a lot of things in this life for granted. Health and having our loved ones close enough to hug and hold should never be one of them.

Thanks for the update on Kelsey...please keep them coming as you get them. No one should have to lose a child but I truly cannot imagine losing two at one time.

As a father of a 9 old and expecting our second child in April, this breaks my heart. I know the father will definitely need our prayers for a long time to come. I am praying for the whole family of Marcus Henry but especially for the healing hands of God to touch his sister Kelsie and his father Eric. May God bless them all.
