Maybe He didn't, maybe He did - I'm not about to say for sure one way or the other. All I know is that I'm humbled, and also thankful someone else didn't get punished for my immaturity.

Well, he may not have punished the other person, but punished you with the gift that keeps on giving. You might want to go to your local clinic and get tested.

Not all women can concieve, and some men have infertility issues. It could have been either one of those, you never know. I'm sure neither one of you were ready for a child.

All that can be asked is that one learns the lessons that have been presented to him. There's nothing worse than one who continues to make the same mistakes again and again.

So exactly what lesson was learned here?

a) You can petition the Lord with prayer

b) No more pre-marital sex

c) Cease to play the pope's pinball and invest in some serious contraception

d) follow the logic of the CIA operative about to be captured with the code book
