Praise for Dabo Swinney and Clemson fball

That is where you're wrong; what I, and a majority of people are against, is the fact you want the government to legislate your sense of morality. You want abortions banned, you want gay marriage outlawed, etc.

I don't believe in magic but I don't fault those who do. Just keep your religion private and not try and use any form of government to legislate on the masses. Keep it in the churches.

Wow! Where did Jesus say to keep our "religion" in churches? Let's see here follow what you say or follow God, what is a "radical" Christian to do here? Perhaps we should take our beliefs in Church services inside the House of Representatives like our founding fathers did?

You liberals really are getting old with all the democratic talking points. Is murder (abortion) legislating morality? Where do you think we got the basis for our legal system? I know that you don't want to believe it but our system of government was established on Biblical principles!!! Any law that is passed can be looked upon as a moral issue genius! Get off the democratic talking points and think for yourself! What you want to do is push your "religion" of no tolerance on the rest of us! Sorry dude Christians are now getting to the point where we are going to stand up for our First Amendment rights whether you like it or not!

Trust me I'm far from liberal.

By keeping it in the "Churches" I mean don't use government to force yourself on others.

Personally I don't really care about abortion but I believe in letting a woman decide. If and when science ever determines when life starts I'll reevaluate my stance.

First you seem to be operating under the idea that without religion there would be no morals, you would be wrong. Second we were not founded upon Christian ideas, the Treaty of Tripoli reinforces that statement.

I have no problem with Christians like you may think. Like I said I have a problem with people demanding the government prop up their sense of morality.

Tell me why? Shouldn't that be the goal?

Well it seems to be going in that direction. God is being pushed out of everything these days and look what's happening. Things are getting worse. So by all means please feel great about your goals being pursued.

So I guess the goal should be for only Atheists and all non-believers to make decisions huh?

.

Perhaps you should google "The Silent Scream". I guess seeing a fetus literally trying to run away from the tool that is used to rip it apart and remove it from the womb and opening its mouth in an attempt to scream out in pain isn't enough evidence for your scientists to determine if its "alive" or not.

Perhaps you should google "The Silent Scream". I guess seeing a fetus literally trying to run away from the tool that is used to rip it apart and remove it from the womb and opening its mouth in an attempt to scream out in pain isn't enough evidence for your scientists to determine if its "alive" or not.

Many members of the medical community were critical of the film, describing it as misleading and deceptive. Richard Berkowitz, professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, described the film as "factually misleading and unfair". John Hobbins of the Yale School of Medicine called the film's use of special effects deceptive, a form of "technical flimflam." He pointed out that the film of the ultrasound is initially run at slow speed, but that it is sped up when surgical instruments are introduced to give the impression that "the fetus is thrashing about in alarm." Hobbins questioned the titular "scream", noting that "the fetus spends lots of time with its mouth open", that the "scream" may have been a yawn, and also that "mouth" identified on the blurry ultrasound in the film may in fact have been the space between the fetal chin and chest.

Fetal development experts argued that, contrary to Nathanson's assertion in the film, a fetus cannot perceive danger or make purposeful movements. David Bodian, a neurobiologist at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, stated that doctors had no evidence that a twelve-week-old fetus could feel pain, but noted the possibility of a reflex movement by a fetus in response to external stimuli such as surgical instruments. The size of the ultrasound image and of the fetus model used was also misleading, appearing to show a fetus the size of a full-term baby, while in actuality a twelve-week-old fetus is under two inches long.

Yeah, that might be why.

Yeah, that might be why.

Too bad that is not the only example of fetal pain recognition.

You realize that a fetus has it's own functioning heart and brain when it is five weeks along inside the womb? And that abortions are legal up to 24 weeks in some states? 24 WEEKS!!!

Isn't it amazing that Doctors in one state can go in and perform a life saving surgery on a baby still inside the womb at 21 weeks, and in a bordering state another Doctor can go in and cut a 21 week baby up into chunks and suck it out through a vacuum tube?

Babies have been born prematurely at 20 weeks and survived and have gone on to live full, normal, and healthy lives, yet can still be legally MURDERED if the mother wants.

The only religion being propped up by the current federal government is Islam. They are clearly not trying to support or prop up Christianity. They are silent while every day Christians in Egypt, Syria and other countries are being systematically eradicated. They support Palestine while turning their backs on Israel so they sure are not propping up the Jewish faith either.

How about you let me believe in what I believe in and what you believe in and we call it good.

K thx bye.

I'm honestly not sure where to start with this? It's not the Federal government's job to prop up any religion. Second Christians in Egypt, Syria, etc are not our obligation. They support Palestine? What? Yeah they support the peace process and a two state solution just like any sane person. Finally we've turned our backs on Israel? What do you call the billions we still give Israel in free military aid every year while our economy is in the tank? Really it would be better just to cut off Israel for that matter, that alliance is only a one way street. They gain everything and we receive nothing but blow back and negative PR from supporting Tel Aviv.

Trust me I'm far from liberal.

Maybe not but you are regurgitating the anti-Christian propaganda! When does life begin? I don't need a scientist to tell me, God has already answered that question. With regard to my ideals I do use the Constitution and the Bible just like the founding fathers did! I have found no conflict because our founding fathers called upon God when they drafted that marvelous document. It's more than a shame that our culture today is getting away from it!

Like I said before, don't listen to the liberal talking points! Follow God! The "magic" you speak of can give you real love and peace! I will earnestly pray for you! I hope you come to understand the true meaning of this Easter season!

Suggestion, go see God's Not Dead for a starter!

Could have fooled me from your comments. Nobody is FORCING anything on others.

Sorry but I cherish life!

You need to go back and read our nations History. You are incorrect. Think about how ignorant your first sentence is. We'll then tell me where our morals did come from?

Yes you do have a problem with Christians which is evidenced by the way you want us to give up our First Amendment rights. It's not really a problem with Christians it is an unbelief of Jesus that is driving you.

I appreciate your comment! You can be a Libertarian and a Christian and not force your views on anyone. Just so you know, I am best classified as a Christian Conservative. However, I really don't like to put myself under any title but Christian. In the end, that is all that will really matter!

Good luck! I am not trying to offend you either.

I don't think you understand the First Amendment. No one is keeping you from believing what you want nor are they closing your church.

If I were on the football team at a public university, and my coach made it a team requirement to participate in activities for a certain specific religion that I am not a follower of, I'd have a problem too. I don't see why people are acting like forcing a system of beliefs onto anyone isn't a big deal.
Jesus is an invitation not a mandate. I'm sure Coach Swinney knows this well.

Matthew 6:6 Do not pray in public as the hypocrites, but pray in your closet.

Please keep reading the Bible and count how many times Jesus prayed IN PUBLIC....it might just surprise you. You may start in John chapter 6 and continue to John 11....

It's easy to take biblical texts out of CONTEXT....:peace2:

Here is an excerpt from the Treaty of Tripoli:

As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen [Muslims],—and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan [Mohammedan] nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

This was written by George Washington and John Adams. I think you may have a distorted view of our founding fathers religious beliefs. The nation that they revolted against was officially a Christian nation.
