I mean, really, anybody acting like this is some sort of new thing is just out of touch with reality. If you went to school anywhere in the South, or maybe even elsewhere, and you played any sort of sport, there's a 98% chance your coach said a team prayer in the huddle. It's just the way things are. The question when I was growing up was never "do you go to church" - it was "where do you go to church"?
If they really think Dabo is the only one doing this, they're out of their minds. Hugh Freeze is deeply and outspokenly religious. I wouldn't be shocked at all if most D1 coaches in America have prayed with their teams at one point or another. Again, Butch Jones, with 120 thousand followers on Twitter, is clearly taking a knee in prayer with the team in his profile picture.
