Obviously we aren't seeing the whole practice, and maybe it was a light day, but it looks like that wasn't as nearly as intense as what we saw in last year's practices.

I noticed their rip drill is crap.

Someone was doing pushups at the end lol.

And that they look to be all half assing it.

Huge difference in Dooley practice VS Kiffin

There's nothing baseless about it. You'd have to be an imbecile to not notice the difference.

Listen close and you can hear the air burn from brays thrown balls. I hope he adapts a Scorched Earth Policy.

Dang....Bray has a real shot at this thing I think. He doesn't look too small to me. As long as he continues to work hard, he could actually win this.

With the practices being closed, I doubt we are seeing the real action. I do like what I see from Bray but he has quite an akward release. I believe Simms will start mainly due to his leadership and poise. I just hope he can do some of the things he did at the CC. We all know however, at the end of the day its who makes the least mistakes, best decisions and leads us to victory.

GO VOLS!

Did you attend or watch every minute of every practice last year as well as this year? No. Then, you are basing your OPINION on a few clips from each (which probably involved a pre- or in-season practice from last year and a spring practice from this year). That does not constitute a well-founded, apples-to-apples opinion in my book.

Apparently you struggle with reading, so I will point out again where I said I'm just basing it on a few clips. However, those few clips aren't exactly the types of things you want to release to the fan base to build excitement. And yes, it is my OPINION, just as you have yours. Only time will tell who has the correct one.

I caught that back in October, lol.

Thankfully, I will not have to up my intake of antihistamines with this one. Hmm, and I should copyright that phrase as well if it hasn't already been taken. I hear the cha-ching of t-shirts flying off the shelves.

Seriously though, if he outperforms Simms at the O&W game I'm going to come away wondering if he can just work as hard as he can this summer on his physique and be the guy from day 1. He just looks more naturally gifted than Simms.

Do you disagree?

Patting the ball like girls is not a rip drill. We used to rip peoples arms off.

There was someone doing push ups. <Argue that one smart guy.>

They looked half ass, dropping easy passes, bad throws, not a very serious looking practice to me. Seen countless practice videos over the years from UT and that has to be the most laid back I have seen.

Kiffins practice was extremely up tempo start to finish, this obviously wasnt.

So exactly what the issue? Just looking for someone to start mess?

Dooley is not nearly as intense as Kiffin. No one can argue that. It shows in his attitude with players, media and through his practices.

The question is: Is this a bad thing?

This is a good question, and only time will tell.

If you take a look back at the footage GVX has on the April 7th practice, it seems to be a little more intense; not much though. Maybe we got footage from an easy day, or maybe that's just not his style.

Me personally, I don't think it's a bad thing.

It depends. As much as I rag on Dooley, Pete Carroll's practices were about as laid back as it gets, and he won a MNC or two. The problem is that USC always lost a game they should have won easily.
