Well fall practice is finally here and I was wondering if there was anyone who had practice updates. Also, are they closed to the public and what time are they?

I can't believe it's almost football time in Tennessee again!!!!

By far the most excited I've been about UT football since surviving Hess back in the day. I want to see Bryce Brown carry the football folks. The anticipation is killing me.:clapping:

Playing Ncaa 2010 makes it so much harder to wait.

i cant wait to hear the practice report!!!! so here is how i think its going out there.....

YouTube - 2009 Tennessee Football. An inside look at spring practice.

How could you watch that and not feel the enery? Shoot, it made me wanna get up and exercise....almost. And listening, especially to Cheney, you can tell that these coaches know what they're talking about. And not only that, they're all positive encouragers.

I'm so ready to hear about how today went. See BB and NR in action.

I want to see some passion out of the receivers.

I know the QB play has been nothing short of frustrating recently, but I want to see veteran guys like Hancock and Warren (and obviously guys like Jones and Moore when/if they get back during the season) busting it out there on every down to get open and make plays. I just think there's enough talent in that corps of receivers that they should be productive in our offense, even though we will adopt a run-first philosophy.

here's some updates from a guy on VQ that's there...

Kickers, punters and snappers are on the field.

O-line is out

Kiffin takes the field a new era has "officially" began.

Askew looks the part so far at lb in with the first unit.

Nuke just took a slant to the house from Compton on back to backs. Soft coverage

Dreads is the new shaved head in August, at least 7 on the defense with them.

Art looks bigger hair is longer. QBS are doing drills by me. Just noticed the new practice jersey, orange with the white stripes down the side for O and white with orange for D

Rap music has begun for warm ups

Only the shorts and a few of the coaches outfits. Ausmus is the only coach louder than Coach O. On a side note its good to see Inky here.

or rozier and lamaison have velocity on any ball, and crompton and stephens on just the slants...

Crompton looks comfortable made some nice accurate throws, same for Stephens but there is a huge drop off after those two. Could be first day jitters but I saw nothing from Rozier or Lamison to step in this year.

Hope he doesn't mind me taking his updates, lol.

Lets hope these guys stay healthy. We cannot afford to lose either. This also tells me we need a 2010 QB. Newton is looking better and better.
