What does he mean by "put a few on the carpet?" Pass breakups?

I see to remember message boards melting down in 2006 when Ainge was struggling early during camp. "Oh god, here we go again!" "Give JC a chance!" were common postings at that time. Lets see a couple of scrimmages before we throw anyone off the Henley Street bridge.

Very true. the worst though were last year people saying Dave Clausen (instead of Clawson) and now people referring to Z. RoDgers instead of Rogers...
