Practice updates of any kind

@Troy_Provost: Per @Vol_Hoops' game notes, Robert Hubbs is questionable for Friday's exhibition game vs. Alabama-Huntsville with a right groin injury.

Barnes gave Derek Reese some spirited coaching for stepping away from his man in the paint. Reese corrected his mistake right away.

Reese may have a decent season if Barnes can keep him from constantly floating to the perimeter.

If paired with a prediction of a decreased win total, and drop in attendance, then absolutely, that one by itself is pretty weak though.

I was joking

I did predict the drop in attendance but not the wins for the record.

Any word since that last report on season tickets?

Noteworthy parts from Barnes media session today...

Biggest concerns are defense and transition defense

Players didn't fatigue/cramp against Davidson, looking into pre game meal from Friday and also locker room temps at TBA

No concern we can score, gotta defend our basket though

Will bring back the old wooden T players used to run out of, idea came from having lunch with Josh Ward

No update on Kasongo, it's an amateurism issue

Hubbs and Alexander replace Mostella and Resse in the starting 5 after watching UAH film

Clearly Punter was fatigued. He fouled to get off the court, but he did play darn near 40 minutes. I think fatigue was a issue the 2nd half where we lack defensively more so than the 1st.

I like the confidence Barnes has in the ability of his guys scoring.

It was a short practice video from Wednesday.

Moore ran circles around Kasongo at the end. Not sure why RK didn't give any effort there? If that's the effort he gives in games, I don't see him getting a ton of minutes imo. What was that because it wasn't defense...lol

Looked like a segment of practice where bad defense with zero effort was being modeled. Smdh at that.

Hard not to think about the line: "what is tolerated is encouraged" while watching that sorry excuse for effort

Looked like that was Moore goofing around at the end. Everyone was smiling and clapping, no one else kept rebounding and shooting the way Armani did at he end.

But in the spirit of Bruin, let's all take this video and just assume that it's a bad sign and Barnes is the worst coach and recruiter of all time!!

Good point

Goofing off is exactly what this team needs especially considering how much of a well oiled machine we are on the defensive end of the court.
