Anybody know where to get the new practice jerseys or if they even will sell them? Love the way they look. Hope the game jerseys stay traditional though. Thanks for the help in advance!:hi:

Why is it that they don't sell the Adidas sideline stuff anywhere? I know that they sell a few items at the bookstore, but I feel like they could be making a killing off of this stuff. For example, I've been looking for an adidas rain jacket for a year or two now, and you can't find one anywhere (except for those non-waterproof windbreakers).

I've heard that they don't make/sell more UT apparel b/c Adidas only makes a set amount of gear in our unique UT orange, and then that's it for the year.

Just about everything that the coaches wear on the sidelines is available in store. The rain jackets are one of the very few exceptions. They were made available for retailers to order two years ago, but because of the GORTEX material, the MSRP was over $250 and exactly zero retailers placed an order.

It's true that only a certain amount is made, but that amount is determined after retailers make their orders. There's plenty to go around.

Gotcha. I guess $250 is a bit of a lofty pricetag. It just seems like some of the gear is very hard to find, unless you're at the UT bookstore.

On another note, since you're familiar with order quantities for Vols apparel, I'm curious if you might know how the black jersey sales are coming across the state?

Im pretty good friends with both of the equipment managers sons and if you want one bad enough im sure i could get you one..i get gloves and stuff often..so if you want just shoot me a email...

No idea. They weren't supposed to be produced at all, they were basically a custom job that a few retailers ordered. The only places that have them are Sport Seasons in Knoxville and Nashville, Alumni Hall in Knoxville, and TN Sports Fan in Nashville. They will not be sold by the bookstore or TN Traditions.
