I wish the stripes on the game pants had black outline.. Just a thin black outline.

Yep. Love the bk outlined on wt jersey ans orange pants. But matching the bk outline on pants would give nivlce contrast too.

My fav jerseys yet were the one yr (2002?) when we had the wide stripe on jersey and pant to match. But only on the wt travel ones. Looked incredible on the road. The prob was we sucked that yr and the jerseys got thrown out w bathwater.

Also would love to see the orange should pads as seen on condredge holloway and once in opener in 04'. I expect to see them when we play LSU this year so that they have to wear dark jerseys in the GA dome. :)

I agree, if the black around the numbers is mandatory for the announcers to read. Then the pants should have some black on them some where when worn with the away jerseys. I feel that when there is no black on them they don't match.

Also, I did not like the orange collar on the white away jerseys we sported last year.

I know the orange is "correct" now, but it appears too yellow under certain lighting. Though the color was "wrong" I feel that the uniforms from '98 can't be beat. Huge numbers, solid white pants and a shade "oranger" orange. Jmho.

Totally forgot about 2002, I agree that was a great change up on the uniform. It worked well.

Like the stripes, could do without the T. But they would work for games

Damn shame they have to sweat and mess up the orange

I have never liked the techfit. My favorites were probably the mid to late 90's. Large numbers with the perforated untucked jersey.

TechFit jerseys give us a competitive advantage. Less to grab onto. The jerseys and helmets match perfectly in the same light. I like the idea of a flat white helmet though. The glitter/flaky stuff in the current helmets play a big part in how the lighting darkens the "T" in comparison with the uniforms IMO.

That is what I figured. Just don't care for the look though.

Love the big orange T on the Right side of the pants.

Giving 5 dollars to the first person to tell me what game and player that is.

So many opinions...Personally, I really like the techfit jerseys but would love to see a flat white helmet.

You still wear polyester? Bell-Bottoms? Leisure Suits? ;)

I look at those pictures and I remember how much I loved them then, but that look has passed.

I might be the only one, but I like the sleek look of the tech-fit.

Are you me? If so, what are you doing posting without me knowing that I am posting?

If you aren't me, we are probably the only two that think that way.

Can't use the three stripes for game jerseys, the NCAA considers that a logo, and logos are limited to a single logo of a maximum 1 1/4 sq inches, the size of the logo on the front of our game jerseys.

I thought this was the case.

Because we know Nike would have already trotted out something that resembled a giant swoosh if they were allowed to.

Just because it is old doesn't mean it is outdated. :)

It also might be a subconscious opinion on my part because we were a top ten team loaded with NFL talent in those uniforms. :birgits_giggle:

You're right: some things get better with age. We do obviously, as well as 60's mustangs, camaros and WWII era american fighter aircraft.

I believe it was Marcellus Wallace who said it best: "[Some thought that jersey] would age like wine. If you mean it turns to vinegar, it does. If you mean it gets better with age, it don't."

I'm not a jersey wearing guy but I'd buy 1 of each of these practices jerseys. But of course if it's cool they won't make it for us to buy.

Funny how I'm a fan of Adidas, and I just realized the other day that I don't have a single Adidas UT product.

Here are the changes I'd make to the uni's...

1.) I like the tech fit jerseys with the exception of the size of the numbers. I do wish Addidas would enlarge the numbers. Oh and I also wish they would move the numbers back high up on the shoulders instead of the sleeve. It makes them easier to see that way.

2.) I also wish we would remove the double stripes on the pants and replace it with one wide stripe to match helmets. Also put the power T logo back on the left thigh of the pants like they use to be.

3.) Orange facemasks!!
