I like hearing that.

I predicted both would gain 1,000 yards receiving so they better be playing at another level compared to last year.

Can't wait for the season.

2000 yds receiving between Malone and Williams
D4H your something else, what, I'm not quite sure

This is the first time I have seen any mention of Josh Smith, has he been injured or something?

No, he's been another consistent and solid player so far. Just not the flashy guy everyone wants to see cause we know what he can do, and he keeps doing it. He'll be starting.

Also, worth noting somewhat that Byrd is getting 2nd team WR reps.

Richmond going to pull ahead at LT

Possibly. Butch told us today that as of now, there is no separation for right and left tackle. Richmond is getting some 1st team reps. Butch also said Jack Jones has been progressing and can pretty much play any position on the line.

Smith has the best hands of the team

I was in on Malone's interview. Said him and Preston are going at it full speed in terms of competition. Also, he was asked about Byrd's abilities. Said he's the fastest receiver and possibly the fastest guy on the team. Said he's "just a speedster."

Just because our two top WRs last year, in the same offensive system with the same HC, OC and QB only combined for a meager 814 yards don't mean that our two top WRs this year can't produce a 150% or so increase in receiving yards???.....I mean, is that prediction really THAT insane?

Malone, Williams, and Smith our starting 3. Who would be the 4th? A debatable topic I'm sure but the options we have at this point are exciting to think about.

Probably Jauan, but he has been wearing a green no contact jersey so we'll see. Also look for Byrd to play some early on.

I wonder if Justin Martin is holding back a little since he got hurt last year during fall camp.

Excited to see those two. Malone and PWill are ultra talented. Just no reason for them not to flourish this year. If we could get 1,400-1,500 yards and 10-12 tds combined from those two, our offense is gonna explode IMHO.

Just them PROVING to be real downfield threats would supercharge this offense. Will help with future big time WR recruits too.

Not sure if this has been covered and I missed it but I noticed in one of the 1 on 1 drills, Butcher was standing on the side in a tank top and shorts. I thought he'd at least be in pads by now. Anyone have anything on his recovery?

He and Dillon Bates seem to be cut from the same cloth.

I hope we cut the rotation down to primarily Malone, PWill, Smith and Jennings personally.....unless one of the young guys are just too good to keep off the field. Otherwise, play those 4 primarily and only pull them when they need a breather.

Richmond going to pull ahead at LT

Multiple observers keep reporting he's solid in pass protection not yet as accomplished in the run game. To me that's great, it's usually the reverse!! Could be great things happening on our OL at LT.

We're playing 15 games and I have Dobbs throwing for 4,000 yards.

Somebody has to get those receiving yards.

Why not Preston and Malone? :)

WOW. If Preston and Malone can be the superstars we know they can and if Byrd lives up to the hype, we'll be unstoppable on offense.

My prediction that we'll average 45 PPG this year is looking better each day.
