i agree. Who knows how these guys will perform against Bama? They could play great. I would put money on them being better than the guys they replaced. Sometimes talent trumps experience.

Hopefully having played relatively well against Georgia's defense, which is run by another Saban disciple, coach will have more faith them.

Well when the reporter asked about the 2 freshmen OL on right side. Butch's face lit up with a smile like wow and he went on to say.... this was very good heat of the game reps against a top tier SEC and that you cannot replicate these kind of reps in practice. :good!:

We could only wish that Jones & Hall would start from here on..............but Butch is gonna do what Butch does and that is start Wiseman & Kendrick until they get abused in the ground just like he did w/ Jumper.......when the OBVIOUS is so OBVIOUS, as Kendrick and Wiseman can't get to the 2nd level and block in space as they miss their blocks too many times

and of course Butch is gonna say..........."These are prideful young men"

Don't get me wrong, Hall and Jones stepped in and did a great job in the situation. But, I remember vividly on a power play Jones didn't get to the defensive end and Hurd had to bounce it out of bounds for a gain of 1.

Go back and watch the film of the play by play. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

I saw that however, what Im saying is that they will learn those type of things by just getting more playing time and getting used to the speed of the game as they both have incredible athletic ability. However Wiseman and Kendrick are simply NOT athletic enough in space.

Kendricks block on Hurds overtime TD against OU says otherwise.

Kamara wearing green, not good.

Drew Richmond didn't arrive until June 1 and he's on the second team OL, good for him. I hope he beasts out next year if not sooner.

Agreed, that worried me myself when I read he wore green that practice.
