Who are UT’s “Power Brokers” that would have accompanied Currie to Florida?

John and Jane Doe. They own land in Jefferson County next to Grudens, he was Jon’s roommate, and she was on the UT cheer squad with Cindy.

My friend also said that this go round money was not a problem. That if we did not get Gruden we would still get a big fish.

My friend who donates a lot of money. He knows this for sure. If you don't believe me that is fine but those are the three guys that are conducting the interviews.

These posts are a dime a dozen.

I would hope so considering the amount of money the university makes off of football. Money should never be an issue at UT considering how much fans dump into the program on a yearly basis.

Best to not post new info, most on here hate new info!! They seem to hate anything not started by themselves.

I agree. My friend said that if it wasn't Gruden it would probably be a big name like Franklin, Mullen or Fuente. Possibly even Gary Patterson. He was not going to be a DJ Durkin or someone like that. The last big mouth guy who claimed that we should have plenty of money I would like to ask him if we had so much money the last two go-rounds why did we end up with Dooley & Botch?

This is a mythical term coined by the delusional portion of our fanbase that thought Butch was a great coach and that John Gruden has "signed the contract" but won't be introduced until "Sunday" (or perpetually "tonight" until the actual coach is introduced). "Power brokers" is similar to the term "smokescreen" and "beavers" who post Ric Flair like comments regarding Grumors on twitter.

Edit: Add "money boys" to the list of terms used by delusional fans

My BS meter is bonging. Currie? Almost surely. Manning? Maybe. Haslam? Not a chance. Fulmer? Probable. Ergen? Likely
